Tucker, I know it’s A LOT, but the fact that you bag up all that overgrown grass/weeds instead of tossing it into the yard is huge to me! It just looks so much nicer to not see the dirt and clumps after they have been mowed over. Always extra nice Work! Thanks for what you do! ❤
He needs a bagger on the mower so that the clippings and leaves would be picked up. Also the hedges should be window sill height, they are too high. Also would like to see him go back and do the backyard, as another video. What area, state is this in btw?
@@joniferris8869 can that type of mower have a bag attachment? I've seen them on sit down mowers but I really am at a loss trying to see how one would attach to that mower.
Your yards look very clean and well manicured. Nice to see you bag up most sod, branches, tall grasses rather than throwing it onto the lawn. Per your question, I'd rather work in 30degrees. At 30 degrees, you can always put on more layers, whereas in 100degrees you can only take off so much clothing.
New subscriber here. I’ve gone back and watched all of your previous videos. Thank you for not throwing 5-6 feet of grass clippings out onto the street. Thank you for not tossing rolls of sod you shovel from the street onto the grass and simply mowing over it. You do an awesome job and picking up all the curb and sidewalk debris really makes for a great looking finished yard. Keep up the great work!
i love it how in so many of these videos where some one is cleaning up a yard thats gone nuts. there is invariably noise in the background that tells you that some one else was inspired to do some yard work as well. i love it, and it helps to motivate me as well do do some work out side. yards should be a show of pride in ones property. while some are unable to care for them or afford to have it cared for, its just awesome to see that some one is willing to put out the effort and time to help out like you and so many other similar channels. fantastic work indeed. (its winter and i have snow, so its tractor work pushing piles for now, but i can't wait to work on my own yard and garden this spring and summer haha.)
Murphy's Law. My dad insisted on a corner lot with the two homes they bought, however, that man could plant a stick in the yard and it would grow. Our yard always looked amazing.
Yes, you do a fantastic job of editing. I love the swipe before and after pics. Great job hon! Keep up the good work. I can only imagine how proud your mom & daddy are of you! @TKLawns
Just a personal preference and suggestion….the shrubs should be trimmed to the height of the window sill. That way, the windows aren’t obscured. Believe me, I’m definitely not being critical. You do very nice work on each difficult yard.
I watch a few of these channels and they each have something unique about them. When it comes to hedges, Mow It Wells does great. He’s not as good as Tucker with other things though.
I was thinking the same thing....I would not like anything where someone could stand or hide. Plus the more light in the house the better. With no one living there I am sure it will grow up again. But that is probably just us. He really does a great job, can't fault the man for that. Wish he lived here, lol
It’s an abandoned house. Cut hedges lower so no one creeps around. It grows back and if someone (owner?) gets mad tell him or her to keep the neighborhood cleaned up. You did it for free!! It looks fantastic but what’s with all the dirt in the road?
The sky in the before shots looks amazing 😶🌫 but the sharp edges in the after shots look even better, nice work Tucker. It's closer to 100 degrees here in Australia currently 😁
Personally, I’ve always liked 50’s weather the best-it’s cool enough to keep the heavy sweating at bay, but warm enough that once I get started I can work in just a hoodie and no coat…
You do such a great job on everything, but you could slow down and refine your bushes. The work you do is worthy of better bushes. It’s like icing on a great cake.
Great job Tucker! As always! You are hands down the best all around yard transformer on RUclips! I really like the way you take yard debris away and not mow over it. It leaves the yard looking so clean! I also like your editing and reveal touch. The way you slide across the screen showing exact yard spot before and after is perfect! You ask about working in temps…I do not handle heat very well, so I’d say 30*, but I know that is a bitter cold to work in. I felt for you. 60* would be perfect for me. 😊 I love watching your videos, keep them coming!
Very nice transformation. And if you don't have a compost pile at your house, you need to start one and put all those bags of edging waste on it. The grass and dirt is very rich and will give you a very nice compost to use on whatever you like... Just a thought... Thumbs Up!
Great job, Tucker! I always love your videos! That place looks so good, nicely manicured, with awesome edging! Absolutely love those before and after transitions. Be safe out there and try not to freeze! ❤️
Are you referring to 30F or 30 C?? I live in Toronto and prefer 30C - we get minus 20C in Jan/Feb (that’s minus 4F)! We don’t need to do anything with the garden until mid-May and usually finish by early December, but then 4 months of shovelling snow on and off!!
Occasionally I cut recommended 1/3 of the shrub to open up for new growth. Had to cut much more when necessary. They were fine. They looked scalped for only a little while. Personal preference- shrubs and plantings, always trimmed below 1st floor window sills.
Ohhhh so much better Tucker! I like the way you do your before and after pictures, it really shows off the difference. Oh and I like your music. 😁 Those corner houses sure have an enormous amount of edging! WOW! Looks so good and I bet the neighbors who were walking their dog really appreciate the clean sidewalks. Did you talk to the neighbor again? Did he approve? 🤣 I like your editing and appreciated the smile when changed your edger blade 😁🤣😂 Take care Tucker and it is good to have you back 💚💚💚
O my goodness! I guess I’m just a little too serious about my lawn care because I got very interested when you said you found magic edger blades! You kill me! Nice job!
Wonderful job on this yard !!!!!! I prefer working in 50-60% weather. You did look wicked cold the next day. We’ll be lucky to hit 20% here this weekend 🥶🥶🥶
I'll be repeating what a few others said. First, love it when things are baged up, shrubs shorter, and I don't do well in hot weather so 60* for me too. Good job😊
So happy when you’ve posted a video. Yours are always completely done. Love your channel. Hope you and your bride have a great new yr and I’m excited to see your channel grow. I’d rather work in heat and humidity bc I lived up on Lake Erie Ohio for 48 yrs 🥶
Great job thank you. But one thing I see a lot of. When do vacant homes please take the bushes in front of windows down low enough that law enforcement can walk past and see directly into the home. It would stop a lot of squatters. And the new owners can grow the bushes. 😊😊
Great job Tucker! That was a massive amount of edging. I personally won’t do any yard work in 30° temperatures. And I go out early morning when the temperatures are high before it gets too hot.
I agree the shrubbery needed to be trimmed lower. Possibly just under the window trim. Also needed to trim tree on the left side of the house. But everything else looks great 😊
Wow! That was a huge corner lot. What a huge difference at the end. All that overgrowth onto the paths. Lovely cleanup. Subbed Tucker. Keep up the great work. ❤
Great job! I especially liked the sidewalk areas; their clean-up made a big difference. Btw, I prefer the 30-degree weather. At least you warm up when you're working, when it's 100-degree weather you don't have an opportunity to cool off until you're done. 😁
Grass clippings and edging material breaks down into great compost for flower beds. Of course you need a place to make a pile and time for the material to decompose.
As a Kiwi mower guy I tend to prefer heat, but not with humidity. We're in the middle of summer right now so we're hitting 30c or 86f in the summer sun. Keep in mind our sun burns way more than up there (something about the tils of the earth). In high humidity that's a bit much so I'd have to mow earlier in the day. At the other end where I am only goes down to 0c or 32f in the dead of winter, and usually is several degrees above that during the day. I can mow year round. But the mud and rain of winter are what annoy me the most there.

First off, well done! Including clips of your beautiful dog playing is the best way ever to ensure we listen and watch the promo! Who could fast forward past a dog? 🥰 Now, for the yard. Massively overgrown sidewalks! Holy cow! They look so much better now that you've taken them in hand. And mowing down all the green stuff - didn't look like grass - just neatens the whole place up. The trimming of the bushes helped, but I have to agree with others that they needed a much heavier hand. But who quibbling? I'm sure the neighbors are rejoicing and it now looks manicured so it will be safer. Great job!
