Savers employs people specifically for jewelry, the chances of finding anything gold at Savers that isn't priced accordingly is slim to none. That 14k chain was put in there intentionally as buy me bait.

Yup and they lock the real gold and valuable stuff up. If they catch it then it never hits the shelf. And ya they have several people going thru it all . U will hardly ever see good stuff out on the floor for sale. They hoard it all.

I'm hooked!! LOL. Just subbed. I love jewelry jars because my grandma was a a antique dealer with jars and jars of mismatched jewelry for me to sort and tell her the marks. She had bad eyes so I would help her look. Some of the names were foreign so I would butcher the pronunciation ( I was in 3rd grade) LOL. Don't let negative comments stop you,

The white glowing beads you can probably buy via Etsy or bead places online...the colored beads that glow you can buy over at Michael’s or online too! I haven’t seen the white ones before...but, I a,m sure they sell those as well ..but as I said on online bead stores including places like Etsy! They are harder to locate. Also the colorful “floating” necklace is probably from some department store...and also the white shell necklace looks like Mother of Pearl! Pretty nice! Next time you buy one gold earring ...use it as a charm on a necklace....shine it up and use it as a charm..that’s what I love to do with my pieces,,when I have lost one of the pairs! You also save your well spent money to boot!

Thought you might be interested. The beads marketed for Pandora bracelets are a knockoff from real lamp-workers here in the USA. They were developed pre 1980 before the Swedish company patented the idea ... mass produced it in Thailand and marketed it around 2000 . We US lamp-workers always used sterling cores (sometimes gold) because leaving the glass core ruined and wore down the chain (necklace or bracelet) quickly.
Thailand is noted for its beautiful metal beads.
The Hill Tribes of Thailand produce some of the most gorgeous art jewelry SS beads one can find to incorporate into one of a kind art pieces.
Good luck with your work ;-)

@@minimaker5600 ... As someone who makes my own one of a kind beads or sets that work into jewelry I do the same. Doing intricate metal work around beads making necklaces, bracelets etc it is pointless to use all of that work on cheap material.

That was a cast piece and while the stones look like they're set in a bezel they aren't. You can make a repair or scrap or have the stones traded out for something more southwestern. - That black necklace is a Bill Blass.

I was curious about that item that said ORITALS on it. I found this on Google:
The pride of company ORITAL S.R.L. is definitely the made in Italy, and indeed made in Valenza: each piece of jewelry is carefully conceived, designed and executed only in Valenza, bringing with it then all the wealth of experience and design of this city, recognized throughout the world as the capital of jewelry. Never attracted by low-cost processing and the subsequent opening of workshops to foreign firms, ORITAL SRL has always relied on manual skills and professionalism of its employees, while remaining linked to Valencian tradition of jewelry.

The brown necklace may be Amber... If it is, it would be worth a lot.

Not too sure how, but I happened across 3 of these videos today. I manage a "Thrift Store" and 9 out of 10 times, we go through and inspect before we put out to sell. If you happened across something decent, it was by luck because the processors didn't do their job properly. And $249 for a "surprise box"? You are obviously pretty well off

I enjoy seeing what you buy, however you spend way too much time trying to see markings .
