- Is it the 90's all over again??? It sure felt like it once I got my hands on this LEGEND thanks to Pete, a faithful viewer from Michigan. This is more than a review, however: Let's convince Miller Coors (also known as Molson Coors) to #BringZimaBack for 2021. The world needs it!

Oh the memories. This drink gave us a new classification of people. Every party had some girls with a six pack of Zimas and a bag of Jolly Ranchers. “Jolly Rancher Girls “ were my go to for sure romance.
Which Jolly Rancher flavor was the best? I was a fan of grape, but I was in the minority there.

Used to have this guy in our friends group. You know the guy. He claims to know some kind of martial art. He's got some flavor of alternative spirituality, and any time someone in the group mentions something they've done, he always cuts in with how he's done that thing better, harder, or faster. Our particular version of the guy "practiced ninjitsu" and was a satanist. We called him the "Zima of Evil".

Zima. Brought about in the same age as Bawls, which we sold at CompUSA back in the day (because it was caffeinated, not alcoholic). Both tragic drinks. Yet one survives...

We had a convenience store when Zima came out and bought 4 cases (8 six packs). When we closed the store a few years ago, we still had 3 1/2 cases in the storeroom. If I remember right, one case we tried ourselves. Nasty stuff.

I was in college in the mid-90's and some of this spoke to me so much. Never liked beer, so was apprehensive about trying Zima. It was okay. Adding the watermelon Jolly Rancher def improved things.

Can confirm. Can't say if it's the same as a US Zima (never had one). I've only had maybe 2 Japanese Zimas. They aren't horrible.

I was still under 21 coming out of boot camp, but we 18+ could drink on base. The "club" put glow-sticks in the Zima bottles with some grenadine. I already knew how to drink whiskey, so I never did it, but the others loved that goofy shit.
They sell Zima in Japan, still, today. If you want 'em fresh, that's the place to get em.

I love Zima. I first heard about it because of Marvel’s Agents of Shield. One character is from a post-apocalyptic future and goes to a bar to have beer for the first time. He orders a beer and finds it disgusting. Then he asks for something that isn’t like this (while holding the beer). The bartender pulls out a Zima and opens it for him. He enjoys it very much and is pictured drinking Zima in all future episodes where they would be celebrating with a drink.
We used to call it, "spriter fluid".
