I had a premonition that I would fall in love with a band in the future but I had no idea what it would be. I experimented with Silversun Pickups, then Tegan and Sara for a while. …then 2018, while researching a trip to Japan, I discovered Thrill. I had searched for J-Pop out of curiosity and the algorithm brought me Band-Maid. When Kanami slayed that solo…. I fell in love again. The rest is history! My fav band of all time🕊️❄️🍌🥷🎸
These young ladies are truly AMAZING! I first heard them back in 2014, and thought how "cute" they looked, but when I listened to Thrill I was blown away by how talented they were...here we are 10 years later and the talent level keeps going up exponentially. They rock with one song, bring me to tears with the next. Each and every song is full of fun, happiness, upbeat and sheer KICK BUTT talent!! Kanami your musical genius and guitar skills are off the scale, you bring me tears of joy as you sing with your guitar. Misa, as always you absolutely kill it, Miku your are so exciting and joyous to watch, and yes I know this is an instrumental but I cannot go without saying Saiki's powerful yet beautiful voice is an instrument of its own, I miss it here. Akane, to me you deserve a compliment of your own...WOW that smile at 1:01-1:02 is so genuine, it just melts my heart ❤your drumming skills are unbelievable and yet you have a constant smile as you smash those drums through out the whole song I love it!🥰🥰
If Band-Maid were to ever explore grunge, banshee-like vocals, this song would be perfect. Screaming during those guitar riffs would be awesome. Any takers? Saiki, Miku, Misa?
