Though I haven't tried your method but I always have issue of tightness around the crotch. I'll try your method when next am cutting a pant. Keep up the good work. You're a good teacher.
Vinci good night,I enjoyed the simplicity of drafting the pant. Can that be used to draft boys pant? I am alsi begging you to guide me into drafting a trouser with double pleats at the front. I have been struggling a lot.
Thank you very much for this tutorial, Mr. Vinci. Please I want to ask, what is the standard for cutting crotch of the trousers, here in your tutorial you used the waist divided by 4, some people use hips divided by, which one is more professional thank you very much, God bless you, sir
Please I have always encountered the issue of the inner part of the trouser ( between the laps area downwards) not sitting flat after sewing. It's either Dragging up ward and not relax
That is how trousers are made, the back panel is always larger than the front. Check from already made trousers. Our front body is flatter while the back is having butt, calf, etc so you compensate for that. Try making one with front and back panels having the same measurement, you'll notice fitting issues.
So insightful sir, will you be using an elastic on the waist band? I asked because I saw you adding 2" to the waist after dividing it by 4. You later removed 0.5" to get the hip curve leaving an extra 1.5",,, what is the rationale for the 1.5" please.
We often forget that men have hips too, so that 1.5 left is to give room for the hips…with this method the hips can not be tight no matter how fat a customer is
Boss..... That meant with this method I don't need to measure my client hip round.... because watching this video you didn't use the hip measurement....only the waist

After cutting and stitching the side line tend to be at the front what could be the cause?
