Thank you, that was so easy to understand. I feel sad about rewashing my horses tail or even cutting it up, but to have something I can wear forever, now that's a gift from heaven.
Just curious - why use 4 strands while braiding instead of 3? When we braid horse manes for the hunters, we typically use 3 strands. Also, does the hair require any special prep other than washing (I used baby shampoo).
Hi thank you for your questions. You can use any style of braid you are comfortable with. The reason of using the 4 strands, is that it is one of the easier ones to achieve a round / rope style finish, as opposed to a 3 strand plait, which gives a flat finish. But it is a personal preference. The more strands you can use also ends up with a tighter and stronger braid, less prone to stretch and loose hairs. In regards to prep, just a wash in a mild non greasy soap or shampoo is sufficient. Happy braiding ☺️ Monika
I can't figure out how the string that is attached to the clip is attached to the table. The audio was so bad in Part I that I did not hear/understand what she said. The audio is not the greatest in this video either, but it is a bit better.
You can tie off the string any which way you like to something solid. Either stick it down with some strong tape, or in my case I tied it off to a metal bar under my table top. Everyone will have a different set up.

Thank you. I'm glad you found it easy to follow, and it's nice to have something special with you .

Where do you get the metal end pieces?
