Nicely done, this was so much fun! When I visited the Twin Cities I made it to two of these (the Hi-Lo and Mickey's - or at least the outside of Mickey's), but the Band Box was still closed when I was there - your review makes me want to go next time I'm up there, especially since it's such a rare bird. Also, the Monkees AND Jackson Betz...you guys have great taste in music! ;) P.S. I loved your "oh-MAH-ho-nee" pronunciation, a la Jakwelline!
Thank you so much for the kind words! Band Box gets a big recommendation from me, by far the best diner in the city (that’s currently open). Can we maybe see a Monkees Acapella Deviation next time? ;)
I am heckin honored that you covered one of my songs - this is the first time that’s ever happened 😍😍😍 Awesome video in general too - Miles and I are super flattered that you enjoyed our diner videos enough to make this kickass homage!! The restoration of the Hi-Lo looks awesome (even if the pancakes are resoundingly mid), and the Band Box looks like a really neat example of a no-frills, midwestern Valentine-style diner (albeit built by a different company)! And I’d be just as enthusiastic as you are if I got a rare slinky bus ;)
I am heckin’ honoured that you are heckin honoured by my cover. I am so grateful for what you two have done for the community and am glad that I can make my small input in the Miles and Jackson dinerverse.
OMG, I can't believe I happened upon a local MilesinTransit copycat. I subscribed immediately. If your videos are even half as entertaining and interesting as his I'll be a fan of yours to the end. Thanks for sharing!
I love this diner crawl project. If I tried to do this in LA, it would take weeks. I really enjoy diners because I can eat breakfast 24/7. Pancakes are one of my favorites, especially if they completely cover the plate 😂 The singing kills me in the best way. Well done.😊
I have a 7-line "S-bahn" I made for the twin cities plus "Midwest Corridor" branches via Red Wing/present main line, Rochester (includes Madison), and Eau Claire

I bet you also got a shake at the Hi-Lo, right

Thanks, Miles was a direct inspiration of this channel and I appreciate you joining!

Thank you! If you have not seen Miles in Transit’s diner videos yet I highly recommend! (It was my inspiration for this).
Love the homage, this video was a great watch, I sub'd
Thanks! Welcome!
Haha love it - glad to see Miles has kicked off a new trend 😎
I would love to see more from this trend. A national catalogue of diners.
Come to Canada too 😎@@msptransit

Love it! I want it!
This was wonderful! Your great grandpa Joe, who owned a couple diner type restaurants in Milwaukee, would have loved it, too!
Scary that you know that many details about me but I’m sure I would!
❤ loved this video so much!!
I actually just moved into Minneapolis and diners are my favorite kind of restaurant, so I see this as a guide if anything lmao
Glad it could help, I definitely recommend giving these a try :)
Very cool!
Thanks!
Yes, please make more, more weird extravaganza's!!
Will do! Glad you liked it!
As an admitted Miles impersonator, I enjoyed this 😁
Thank you, glad to meet a fellow comrade!
