Good evening. Saw you earlier today with the other Michigan lady I love to watch too. Lol, she was excited to meet you because she said people thought you knew each other since you both lived in Michigan 😅. It was so sweet you stopped by to speak to her mom. She’s been so sick and we have all have been really concerned. Pretty much like we were so concerned about you. It was great to see you and Chris there. These redo’s are so beautiful. Love them. Chicken feeder? I would have laughed in someone’s face if they had mentioned that to back when we had chickens. Beautiful! 😊❤
It was great to meet her too. Kelly is so sweet. Her momma is so sweet too. I hope see gets something to help her get around. No fun missing out. No one should ever feel like they can’t use a scooter of some sorts ( you know what I mean) we are praying for her.💕

I love the rusty crusty rooster, tools, and clay pots in the chicken feeder!🎉 The chippy tile hanging from pulley is gorgeous!❤ I love the light fixture with cage for cloche!😊 oh, I LOVE the perfectly imperfect flower prints in the window! ❤ Love everything, as usual!🎉
That window turned out old looking just like it was supposed to look n I love this piece. I appreciate the time you put into it. It was definitely time consuming but you set it out to look like it’s been around a long long time n you achieved it. I could see this window in a little girls room. It’s stunning. Chicken feeder looks so happy being surrounded by Daisy’s. It’s so sweet looking. The Rooster was perfect for the front n adding the accessories put it to the top. Everything you make over is always perfectly imperfect. I’m never disappointed.

Wondering if you test for lead paint on your windows. I have one waiting to be refreshed but I’m cautious because it tested positive for lead paint. Do you have any suggestions?
If you google this question it will give you lots of suggestions. I use a vacuum system with my sander that sucks it in. (wear a mask when doing so)
I love those flower prints. I usually dye my paper ahead of printing. Ive been inspired by you using the spray coffee. I have to keep the pages between two books to keep them straightened out and ready for the printer.

The old glass itself has a green tint to it. It’s just how it was made. The newer glass is more clear.

Good morning Yvonne! Ohhh myyy Out of the Ballpark with each makeover! Love them all! I have a hard time choosing my favorite...the window, the wall tile with pulley is amazing! As is the little feeder turned flower/ gardening tools! What's not to love about that!? We raise chickens and anything galvanized has always been high on my loves! Thank you sooo much again! I haven't had the chance to see the video yet...but I seen where you & Kelly Sherry met up at Midland? Anxiously awaiting to watch! This is awesome! My two favorites! Ohhh my! Fixin to hit the road! Hi Yvonne, Hope each day you are feeling better hun. Have you tried coffee staining your paper first then printing? It can some times give you a slight difference. One other thing, I must admit is, I cringe when I see you burning the edges of papers, sorry. Another option might be to tear and then use ink (dark brown works best). I use Tim Holtz, but his newest brown 'scorched timber' might work, tho it's not water proof, the oxide gives a fab result if sprayed (i think you'd love it). Ranger Archival is the permanent ink which won't smudge when wet. Lots of love and big cuddles to Peaches and Taters.
Omg i can't decide what I like best!!! The window is gorgeous and the different colored panes make it more interesting i think.... the candle holder is beautiful with the little cage and the tin!!! I was thinking you'd drape the pulley on it or something....never even crossed my mind you'd hang it!!😂😂😂 I'm definitely looking for those.... i have a gorgeous mirror that needs one!!!

Well now Miss Yvonne…I was watching Kelly’s newest “haul” and it was so nice to see you pop in for a brief hello…Chris too. Tells me two things and that is you are getting better as time moves forward and the thrill of the hunt is stronger than your illness! I pray daily for your full recovery and that’s probably very selfish on my part because I would miss you if you had to let go of our visits. I would miss you, the kitties and Chris too! I’m also praying for Kelly’s Mom as well because she has been fighting desperately to get back to health. I don’t like to see people sick…including my very own Hunny but God in His infinite wisdom knows best even if the road back is long and scary. I said to myself several times before it was announced that you were in Midland that gosh Yvonne would have a day with some of these treasures AND then when Kelly showed some “manly trucks” I thought Chris…you are missing out but you were there and I hope we see some of the treasures you might have found from this adventure. I really liked the chicken redo. I tell everyone that Jack and I live first rock from the sun as my outdoor decor does not survive the heat and sun of my summers. Rust and decay happen warp speed in this yard but I’m sure living on the river helps that process along too. I’m so glad to see you venturing out to find all your needs for your booths and RUclips but I guess you venture out further than I realized. Kelly has always come north so that was no surprise but I see Yvonne is also a long distance seeker!!!:):):)

Love your content! I have an old window on my living room wall and I took beautiful scrapbook paper, a different piece in each spot, and then put family photos in each section. Turned out amazing! Your window turned out amazing as well!

On your paint mixing-If you put your liquid in before powder, the powder will stick to your measuring spoon unless you use two different spoons.

I am going to get those cut tree branches before I make a call for trash pickup. We got record rainfall yesterday but then we could be hot and dry as here in alaska that ac is needed maybe 2 days a year unlike further north. I love the window and iv seen so many now done similar, but you go that extra so everything looks so good and you take the time like with the paper to blend it ! I just love your stuff!
Quick tip: get some legal size cardstock…it’ll help with filling taller or wider spaces.

I always put my powder in first. Otherwise, the scoop is wet & the powder sticks to it. Water last, then let the scoop dry.
