Hi Karen, my order just arrived so now it’s safe to look at other people’s unboxings. I too was surprised and, I must admit, disappointed by the vibrancy of the linen cover on the notebook. I’m really on the fence about it because A5 isn’t my size, 160gsm isn’t my weight so I was mostly buying it for the cover. 😔
Hi Katie. The subtle cover of the notebook was a surprise as the mock up looked more vibrant to me. To be honest I prefer faux leather covers and had moved to buying only faux leather covers. I find linen covers are harder to keep clean and I just prefer the look and feel of leather. That said the notebook is pretty and the artwork is gorgeous. It’s rare to find a heavily decorated cover on a 160gsm notebook. I love this paper weight as it’s great for no shadowing from lots of pens and inks. You could try it as an art journal and go crazy with pens and stamping maybe. Or just regular journaling. They do start bulking out when adding stickers, washi, paper etc but they look fab as they fill up!!
Hi Kimberly, all of this video is from the All for Fall preorder. This is different from the subscription kit which is in my next video. You could preorder from a group of fall and halloween items. I purchased all the fall items apart from pins. I hope this helps 💕
Thanks for sharing your haul, I have also received mine and I also purchased 2 books. I'm looking forward to seeing your set up. I'm thinking I will use the journal as an art journal for all things PA using parts of the kits. Will you be using the journal as a Bujo style planner?
Hi Donna. Before I received the journal I was planning to move in as my bujo. Now I’m deciding between art journal and bujo but as I have 2 I might do both!! The create calls out to be used in a creative way. But I’m keen to get a more freestyle bujo started so I think I might start one in this journal this weekend.
