He's learning so much! It's so fun to pretend he's a little city boy for a while since that's not what our life was like back home. :) Thanks for watching!
Bongeunsa is amazing. You're in the middle of a concrete jungle, the trade tower is just across the street, but when you step into Bongeunsa, it's like you're transported to a different place - calm, serene, peaceful...
Also some palaces and royal tombs in Seoul, too. They are in the middle of concrete jungles, so nearby office workers like to take a walk and have a short break after lunch.

@6:02 hi! Seems like this hasn’t been answered yet. Koreans give carnations or put on a Carnation badge for parent’s day, which is every 8th of May. (There’s no separate day for mother and father, just one single anniversary for parents in Korea). Korean’s celebrate Buddha’s birthday based on the lunar calendar, so it varies every year. This year it happens to be 8th of May, nicely coinciding with the parent’s day. Hence a nice commemoration given to you two for being an awesome parent :)
Or it might have just been an entrance ticket kind of thing lol can’t see it clearly. Either way, beautiful parents with a beautiful kid regardless! Thanks for the videos.
I got a shout out!! Also Hays was particularly cute in this video. He was so excited for Buddha's birthday party. And loved him sliding down the ramp in the subway station.
The president-elected also had visited at Jogyesa on Buddha's B-day. In general, you can find a various food at the basement of each department stores. Have a pleasant trip. 🙏🍀
Wow! That means a lot! We tried to make the most of our one month in Seoul but feel like we barely scratched the surface. We see a little less with Hays than we might on our own, but we’ve so enjoyed our time in this wonderful country.
Welcome to korea I hope you and your family have wonderful time in korea and try to interact with koreans "the people" They are all lovely let them in your space
10:17 Good to see u got to sip the football team's official beer -- Actually not half bad - it's a lager made by one of the smaller but solid brewers called sevenbrau. Cheers and hope your family have a smashing time here. The city is just starting to dust itself off after two and a half years, so great timing! By the way, wow u just happened to see the man two days before his inauguration..another bit of uncanny timing!
Everyone said May is the best time to be here, and that coupled with the city coming back to life has been magical. We’ve had such a good time. Thanks for watching and for commenting!
