    isn't the maths done the wrong way,
    14/26 = 53% which is the HP that both STA and DEX gets
    12/26 = 47%~ which is the extra HP that STA gets

    • @yuumabushida
      @yuumabushida  3 месяца назад

      I originally read it that way too and asked Troll wouldnt it make sense if it was the other way around? Since 14+14 = 28 and STA being 26.
      I also brought up the point that then it'd be 47% and not 53%.
      However, the logic is the difference between 14 & 26 is 12 points of HP , which is 53%. Excluding the 0.5 of each resistance since the math is about raw hp stat.
      But if we look it your way, even at 47% value, it's still good since crits aren't guaranteed and when you land it, only does 150% critdmg, and the margin is 3% wiggle room. Whole thing is also negated if you're a tank, since you'll have 30% bonus.

    If you increase your DEX more, your health is less but you also lose less, so the healer will heal you more easily than if you increase your STA

    • @yuumabushida
      @yuumabushida  3 месяца назад +1

      Healer skills are scaled via combat power, so its a healer by healer basis regarding how effective their healing is, because its not % based healing, your take on this makes sense... More health, more healing required, but also means more breathing room needed before healing needed which could also translate to more time to heal before death. This is basically healer skill diff in the end lol xD
      Regarding DEX reducing more damage, this is true since you get 0.5 resistance stat for both ECHO/CRIT, but we dont have the math to explain how much damage .5 of a stat reduces. So we're not sure if that damage reduction outweighs the 53% increase in value of HP you get from STA.
      However for the debate, lets say that it outweighs the 53% value of a max HP increase that a stat gives, we're likely just min-maxing at max 1% of hp worth of damage. Then we can say DEX for DPS, and STA for tanks. Since tanks will still get 30% max hp bonus and no way 0.5 stat resistance can beat 33.8hp per STA over a 0.5 resistance stat in DEX. At least I dont think so.
      Ultimately, a good point! Up to the player to decide in the end.

    cool video but crit is not 150 of your damage, it's 150% + how much crit bonus you have and these days everyone have at least 10-15% and some are pushing 40-50%. hp is not really a stat you can do much about adding a couple of thousands hp points with taking STA over DEX will not make a noticable change on your max hp. if it's a max hp percentage boost then yes it would be superior.
    your average player now can easily reach 60% crit rate which is about 18k crit points the more crit players have the the more resistances will play a role in keeping you alive.
    this will come to light the more we progress into the game and i suggest not neglecting your dex

    I'm not sure, but dex have more benefit for add extra stat like crit/echo resistance rather than sta only HP, but i still don't know it's worth in PvP or PvE, for now i use Dex and add some STA to make my HP big, but still not sure, btw good info my friend 😁
