it's a pretty rare move but right before it hits you you can counter it with the same buttons you use for torture attacks and basically takes away around half of their hp
It's interesting how the harder the difficulty you choose, the more moves the enemies are able to do, but I have only encountered that 1 time when I was playing this game

imo not as annoying as fearless and fairness, i actually have a lot of fun with grace and glory

There's actually a Counter move for this attack, but it's something difficult to get.
Yeah they can, on rare occasions though, it happened to me before while doing my runs.
And you have a special parry to this
I just got 8 years playing to realize this attack exists, and for parrying it as well
just hit the AB counter prompt 5head
