This playthrough made me realize how much I take my "skills" in these games for granted. Like yeah for me running past enemies not panicking in combat, proper stamina management, etc. are natural, but it's easy to forget it wasn't always that way.

Watching Joe roll over and over and over in random directions to avoid a single attack or attempt to disengage every fight he gets into makes me wonder if I did the same shit when I first picked up this series. I doubt I did it as much, but it's been too long to remember clearly.

The twin blades coming back in the last episode was like the final protagonist power-up in the last fifth of a Sentai show that instantly rolls over every remaining monster of the week.

I recently played through DkS3 trying out Pyromancies for the first time, and holy cow they dumpster every boss toward the end. Straight up killed Pontiff in like 2 chaos fireballs while he was moving into phase 2.

Would have been a much better playthrough if Michael didn't tell Joe about Dex being overpowered in this game. I know he struggled through it regardless, but it still kinda felt like handholding.
