My thoughts exactly. First corner off the start everyone up front is going for the inside line. If someone slightly infront comes across and takes your line you either back off or most likely your gonna make contact. Deegan (to his credit) never backs off and maybe that's why he's been in a few of these first corner incidents. No one intentionally dabs their foot full noise into the ground on any corner intending for it to go into someone's front wheel.

So going 30mph leaning forward you suddenly are so aware and take a major risk to kick your foot in someone else's wheel, knowing there is at best 50/50 you don't get your foot stuck and crash? He has the hole shot in a pro race, you don't look back in the first corner, if you ever been in a race. At best you look slightly to the side to see if anyone's tire is there there but you can't turn your head that much with a helmet on and get eyes back, without letting of the gas, completely turning your body.

And when you put your foot out there is a risk of it getting swept back when it comes in contact with the ground. That being said I dont thuik he hit dirtdeeglers front wheel on purpose or did it deliberately rusking injury and his own season. Havnt u ever touched your boot on the ground, the thing is, the ground isn't moving and your boot stops moving when it makes heavy contact with the ground that's why they tell beginners to point there foot towards the front axel don't make contact with the ground, basic stuff realy, the mistake he made and deegan wouldn't have expected, was he made heavy contact with the ground the video shows that clearly. its a great video to show kids.

Have another look!, I think Haiden is by far the better rider, but all this BOOM!! nonsense, look before his foot hits Haiden's wheel you can clearly see he catches foot which forces it backwards, I wanted to say Chance was at fault but it was just a racing incidence.

@@EkonRekon I'd be glad to hear what other riders think, I can't see how Chance would even know where Haiden's wheel was, Chance was cutting down on Haiden's line that's for sure, but I still believe from his body position he was dabbing his foot as front wheel started to slide which then caught, to start with his toes were pointing in towards his front wheel till he started to slide, at that point his foot went down

It's not a kick, Chance was leaning too much to his right and he was unable to correct it with steering so he had no choice but to foot-dab to get his bike back straight or he would have Fallin down in Deegans path. When he put his foot down Deegans front wheel climbed up Chances leg. It was not on purpose, but it was Chances fault for putting a body part in the path of another rider.
