Sandy B. - AA Speaker - "Letting Go, Letting God"
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 9 апр 2013
- In this tape, one of the best AA speakers Sandy B. shares on the topic of "Letting Go." There is a LOT of practical, useful tips in this tape, and it is a great help to those who are having trouble "turning it over" or letting go of something (whether it is a resentment, fear, character defect, etc.). This is SUCH an amazing tape! :)
Addiction treatment WORKS! The Twelve Step Model has been utilized as a treatment for alcohol abuse and alcoholism since 1935. It is extremely important to know that help IS out there and addiction recovery is possible. If you are battling alcoholism, drug addiction, addiction or any other form of addictive behavior, there are people who know EXACTLY what it is like!
You can find out more at: www.aa.org - Alcoholics Anonymous Official Site - As should be blatantly obvious, we are in no way affiliated with them or any other Twelve Step Program. We are just looking to provide hope to those suffering from alcoholism or addiction.
It is important to note there are several ways for one to address his or her alcohol abuse treatment. Substance abuse is a very serious condition and has become an epidemic in today's world. Many people suffering with substance abuse need treatment, such as inpatient stays, rehab, or counseling. The importance and purpose of this video, and all our other videos, is to show that recovery IS possible and to give hope to those who are struggling with alcohol and drug addiction issues. Help IS out there! :)
From the book Alcoholics Anonymous: "In spite of the great increase in the size and span of this Fellowship, at its core it remains simple and personal. Each day, somewhere in the world, recovery begins when one alcoholic talks with another alcoholic, sharing experience, strength, and hope."

All that matters is right now... I am sober right now, I am trusting God right now, I am reasonably happy right now.
My first day sober. This helps me as we don't have open meetings at this time. I am very sick but I have faith that I can do this one day at a time.
We can do it together one day at a time
You can so do this!! These shares are keeping me sober during lockdown!! Praying for you
Gimme a call 6023295916 you can do it!

Ive been listening to these talks on this channel for 10 years. It has helped my sobriety greatly. Thank you.
This is my favorite. Took me awhile to realize that being sober isnt the only thing we have to do- let it go
Ain’t that the truth?

Hi all new at this
This guy will help!!
Sobriety is a nice byproduct of a spiritual experience.
He really helped me my first year sober . These tapes
This program did not work for me until I gave it all to God thank God for AA I struggled for 30 years
We were faced with a decision: Either God was everything, or God was nothing. What was our choice to be?

I heard this over and over when I have a difficult time letting go. He descibres so well the journey throught the steps with God.
An A.A. friend showed me these recordings. I'm so grateful ❤️
Likewise, that's exactly why I'm here today.. She led me To one and I kept going ❤❤

Listening to Sandy B talk really is a game changer for, me LET GO, LET GOD, I apply this to all my problems now and there always seems to be a solution now and if there isn't that's ok too. THANX SANDY.
Sandy B is one of the most brilliant minds of all times. He drives a message of hope for alcoholism & their families with humor and humility.
I am 45 days clean and listening to the speakers really a good help for me cause everyday is a struggle i tale it one day at a time
Good for you. Hang in there and keep coming back.
Awesome. Keep coming back. : )
It gets easier
I 'took a break' from my recovery for a while because things got better. But of course life always catch back up with me. So I am remembering my need to keep coming back.
Glad you are here.
Sherry, most of us “struggled” because we were focused on “trying not to drink”. We have to focus on living differently. During my first four years in the fellowship, I attended a meeting nearly everyday. Sometimes two, sometimes three. That was the foundation for me to begin living in the solution, instead of the problem. My life is unbelievably good today, and I celebrated 25 years on May 8th, 2019. I sincerely wish you all the best! “Go to meetings, clean house, and help others”.
This talk should be written into a book!!🙏🙏💗💜💙💛
So simple yet i can make it so difficult!
"Keeping my journey in perspective" relieves me daily😎
God is good......All the time😇
SIMPLE PROGRAM FOR COMPLICATED PEOPLE,EASY DOES IT, ONE DAY AT A TIME, GRATEFUL TO BE IN THE FELLOWSHIP NOT ON THE SHIP IN CASE IT SINKS, I COULD NEVER REPAY AA FOR THE LIFE I LIVE TODAY THEREFORE I AM RESPONSIBLE, I HAVE TO REMEMBER THAT BEFORE ANYTHING I'M AN ALCOHOLIC,GLAD NOT LIVING IN THE INSANITY WORLD! I LIVE JUST FOR TODAY ON LIFE'S TERMS FOR A SICK ALCOHOLIC LIKE ME ONE IS TOO MUCH AND A MILLION IS NOT ENOUGH KEEP COMING BACK UNTIL THE MIRACLE HAPPENS
fantastic message. So many just don’t drink & go to meetings. As a real alcoholic, i know that's not the solution, Letting Go is the be all & end all of recovery. God bless you all in spirit x

I absolutely love this man! He so calm, and poised. I found out I use meditation daily,my spiritual life is enhanced in every aspect every suggestion that Aa offers is magnified! I love the aa structure, the road map to freedom, to what God means to me.
I'm happy I discovered this site, as I'm unable to get out much. This gives me a speaker meeting when I need one,
one of the great AA speakers Sandy B.
I wish every AA group promoted this amazing tool, it has helped me out so much. Love Odomtology
Hy Patrick, if you want to make a big service for members of
other countries you could make a transcript of the talk. In return for I
commit myself to produce the subtitles in spanish and french. (automathic subtitles contains a lot of errors)
"If it was easy, it wouldnt have the value that it has."
Love sandy. A man of kindness & love. RIP Sandy.
Oh no I just found him. He passed? 😢 Poor guy. He's great
Yes - he passed while attending a meeting. He laid his head down on the table and peacefully passed - attending the big meeting in the heavens!
@@kathylevy9718 oh my gosh!!! At least he was amongst a group of loved ones!
I am so grateful for the 12 step movement that has helped me tremendously. 7 years sober and it truly is a miracle. ♥️
I tried to stop listening to this because I thought I wouldn't get anything from it....until it was exactly what I needed to hear...and I let go....yep, I'm still selfish.
One of my all time favorite speakers!
He speaks from beyond the problem. Sandy has Seen the ultimate, unseen part of recovery, the part everyone looks for but no one can describe - it can't be put in words. But speaking from that vantage point can produce immensely useful words nonetheless! ☺️
well said ✨
i just love his shares , really helps me in my recovery. by the time his share is over , i realise that i had a laugh and learned something extremely important for my ongoing journey. Grateful to Sandy for leave these shares for us .. Thanks to the person who took the time to gather these tapes and uploading them!

I’m so grateful for this channel.
Thank you. 🙏😃
I love Sandy B. and everything about AA and the program... Thank you so much
Thank God for Sandy B!
I am very grateful for Sandy and the way he delivered the message. He lived in Tampa, I lived in Miami, so you can imagine how surprised I was when after telling my sponsor how much I liked Sandy, my sponsor says, oh he used to be my sponsor. It’s a very small world but the AA world is even smaller!

Letting go is getting much easier knowing higher power is always there... I'm an alcoholic of the hopeless variety.. higher power got me sober to begin with.. thank you
Keep doing the work, and you will watch miracles happen ♥️
Oh God, such loving wisdom from this guy.
I love Sandy every time I listen I hear something I need to hear at that particular time in my recovery!

I'm slowly getting it! But the fear of letting go is terrifying
Mr Smith Well said. It’s understandable - we care about life, and have deep feelings about our experience of it and yet the reality seems to be that we do not own it.
YES, IT IS FRIGHTENING TO LET GO BUT HORRIFIC TO HOLD ON, THAT IS MY OPINION. GOOD LUCK, MR. SMITH.

52 years old and on day 3, sober life just was never meant for me. Ty for the video thought. It’s a beautiful sentiment
It’s one day at a time, the great creator of the world will help you if you seek it
Keep on putting one front step after another and God bless.
Keep coming back
Admit in the deepest recesses of your soul you are powerless over alcohol and your life is unmanageable and find another alcoholic to help
Thank you RUclips and its posters for all these wonderful AA talks. If you have a cell phone and some free time, you can go to an AA meeting here - any time, any where!

God is good all time.
Every time I listen to his message I learn and I love his humor
I love this talk. I am not wrong, but maybe it’s my perspective that’s wrong. For someone who has always felt wrong. These are two different things.❤️
Maybe I had it wrong!! Hahahahahah! Classic AA advice and 100% true!
The sober part has come easy but the staying sober is the challenge along with character defects
Staying Sober is a trick!! Always just for Today!
I'm so glad I've really let go.
Such a good talk, understatement 🙏
Surrender to win. I have to surrender to God & my disease on a daily basis.
God is everything. He asks me do I love him. And I must let go of all defects. Perfection. In order to draw near to his life.
Ive never felt more loneliness than i have recently, my life is just passing me by, i am the hole in the doughnut
Dido. Best wishes ❤
Hugs. How are you doing?
Don't feel that way
Keep going
One of the best speakers out there
Love him so much.. thank you
I need to hear this today. clean since 8/21/12 but man sobriety is tricky one. i am having severe relationship problems in 2 areas. there is no magic here i know. just a dr-logging. new job and its PT which is good but it cuts into my evening meetings. I have to use the program to get thru these stressors. Most of my doing and my side of the street. With all rationalization aside i got to pray for them and my mechanics of life. Turn it over i am sure. thanks all.
Man here I am one year later after this posting on 8/21/18 I hope you came through your struggle I hope you gave it up to god and I hope you're celebrating another year if recovery. If thats not the case I hope you see this and know that you have what it takes to come back and do it again. Look towards the steps for help. Bless you.
alcohol is cunning, baffling and powerful!
It’s the “ism”, not the alcohol.

Thank you 🙏[comma] Sandy. I’m an alcoholic. I’m done not being done being done.
From somebody who is Let It Go constantly I can tell you right now sometimes it comes back to me and it is a daily reprieve to keep on letting go and letting go again. I am a Nobody But then again I try to tell myself because I'm supposed to be positive and God is my identity I tell myself that I am with somebody not a nobody. I sit here in this bathtub right now having a drink and I'm supposed to go to a meeting later and talk to my sponsor and boy oh boy is this one of the paramounts and Pinnacles in the Apex of some sort of transitional recovery that I'm supposed to be doing. I am flawed I know that I am after having many more things other than alcoholism BPD to start but who am I
It was 4 degrees with a snow storm couldn't get to a meeting thank you
Amazing.
I have been clean for 3 and half years
Alcohol rule my life but I am winning this battle with the 12 step program
The only forward from your past is doing the 12 steps and having the program in your life everyday the the newcomers keep up you meeting and a get a sponsor keep strong and handover and pray everyday to a good of your understand love to you all kim
