I'm impressed you were able to re attach the aperture assembly while installing that little screw/spring assembly. I had trouble doing that since the 4 mount screws were stuck with loctite. I had to unlatch the spring and re attach it afterwards. You make great videos btw!
Hi, the four screws at the back of my lens are stuck hard, I tried using lubricant, acetone and such but they didn't work. Do you have any suggestions on how to get them off?
If you have not done so already, a proper JIS screw driver is recommended as it has better grip characteristics than a regular phillips head screw driver.
I have a Yashica ML 24mm lens, do you have any advice on de-clicking the lens aperture? I have de-clicked minolta MC lens apertures, but I cannot see how on yashica

@@FocalReducedthank you
@@FocalReduced so my glass doesn't have oily blades, but it has a loose focus ring. How can I tighten its ring? Thank you in advance!
When the front barrel is removed, there will be visible screws holding in the focus ring. They sometimes become loose over time.
@@FocalReduced thank you so much!
Hello. I cant remove the front by twisting. Is there something that i can do to losen it!
You can try to add more friction by adding a rubber band around the barrel or wear thick rubber gloves.
Lens rubber as if it were a normal ring and some force

We never had that lens, but we did service a ML 50/1.7. The aperture ring came out from the rear of the lens.
@@FocalReduced okay, thanks for that information

Reassembly is shown after the repair.
