I love how they sing English and Spanish! Thats why is si important to raise bilingual kids! Specially if their grandparents are going to be speaking spanish
It’s crazy that these songs have really grown in me when I was a child growing up in a Christian household. Makes me happy that these songs are not forgotten. Because of these songs, I became a musician and would always thank God and my family for showing me these songs that I will forever cherish in my heart ❤️
Look at all of us here in the comment section, talking about these coritos.. were all a big family in Christ, one day we will ALL be singing together , no politics, race , hate, just love and happiness. God bless all of you!
I’m weeping and rejoicing on how these coritos has taken me to the days of my childhood growing up in the Pentecost church. I remember the love & fear of God was truly evident. Praise you Holy Trinity 🙏 Thank you Israel for these beautiful coritos please please do part 2 and may God continue to bless you, loved ones and ministry abundantly.
En la Cruz - At the Cross At the cross, at the cross where I first saw the light, And the burden of my heart rolled away, It was there by faith I received my sight, And now I am happy all the day!
I just love Papi's modesty and lack of arrogance. Back in the day there was no such thing as worship leaders in hispanic churches. The brothers and sisters who were known to be good singers usually got asked to stand in front of the congregation and lead the singing of hymns or chains of coritos, generally one at a rime, that's why he said "sometimes".
No wonder I was such a happy child and kid growing up. I was born into this. Imagine from the womb you are hearing this uplifting, powerful life saving words from our father. Just amazing. 42 now and this takes me back to an amazing place in my soul.
This got me so emotional, here in Mexico, these coritos were the ones I grew up with!!! I'm only 20 but I thank God I had the chance to know about hymns and these coritos.
Israel, cut a studio album of “Coritos!” Call it Avivamiento en el estudio! Alive/ revival in the studio. Thanks! This really touched the hearts of my family
I'm sorry, but did Papi just sing in Spanish, "it was there by faith I received Jesus"??? Now I feel like I've been singing it wrong all these years! Because even Blind folks could be "happy All the Day" if they found Jesus! Wow !
I sang these coritos in the Catholic church. I remember my Dad, as a Eucharist minister would be up front dancing and playing His music sticks! Now im in the Pentecostal church. Dancing and waving flags. Singing these same songs and rejoicing in My Lord. All Because my parents showed me a better way!
I am driving I had to stop to let the Spirit of God touch me .. I cant stop crying . This took me back home I can hear my grandma singing in the kitchen .. Alabalo señor , Gloria a mi Jesus . Thank you this is beutiful.
This makes me so happy!! I used to listen to these coritos since I was a little girl bc we had a Pentecostal church in front of my house, I learned all the lyrics and used to sing them just for fun , years later when I met Jesus everything I used to sing now had a meaning!! Love to see that these coritos were universal 😍😍🙋🏽♀️🙏🏼
I was raised pentecostal and know all these songs which brought memories back and When I was in my teens I used to called that hand gesture "el puño pentecostal".
I’m sobbing right now cause I’m missing my grandma soo bad. I used to go to church with her when I was a kid and would sing coritos too. She’s been gone 10 years but I know she’s with her savior.
I thoroughly enjoyed this and I TRULY adore the joyfulness and diversity of it all...Just a SMALL glimpse of how we will worship in Heaven. No color (race), etc; just worship in spirit and in truth🙌🏽🙇🏽♀️✝️♥️💐
I'm Salvadorian and I think all Latin America a lot of us grew up on coritos and I appreciate it more now that I am an adult.... I get a tingly feeling.... I think it's the seed mommy planted.....😇😇😇
Adrienne voice sounds amazing singing to the Lord and in Spanish qué Dios los bendiga Glory to Jesus 🙏🏾 🙏🏾 🙏🏾 Dios es maravilloso. Me encantaaaa. Glória a Dios
I was raised in an Hispanic church and they played these songs all the time growing up but sadly we lost our senior pastor to covid this year he was in his Early 90s now every thing has changed they stopped singing these songs about 5 or 10 years ago. So thank you for bringing back memories. God bless you
When papi Lindo started singing I broke in to tears. These songs remind me so much of my buela singing them around the house. Thank you for the memories 🥺💖
Recordé toda mi niñez y adolescencia, agradezco a Dios por mis padres que son pastores, declaro que tendremos una reunión así con toda la familia, y entonaremos himnos.
This takes me back to when i first in church w/my Grandparents! My “Tata” Gpa and my “Gram” ♥️ the best 2 people in my world 🗺! They were Catholic, and @ some point converted to be Christians and saved by the blood 🩸 of the Lamb 🐑 Jesus Christ 💯♥️🤲🏻 So i grew up in church that was Pentecostal called Monte Sinai and i remember singing ALL OF these coritos! This takes me back to being a kid 👧🏼 and playing my tambourine in church and singing for the Glory of God 🤲🏻 Hallelujah!!! Alabaré was my fav! All of them really but all of them we sang!, and we had the navy blue gold letters hymnal! I remember it perfectly..❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥 the Spirit of God could be felt in the church! It was as if the roof would MOVE UP N DOWN! Be there was so much FAITH N PRAISE N WORSHIPPING OF GOD it was MAGICALLY but much more SPIRITUALLY A BLESSING for me today 5/1/2022! I receive IT and pray 🤲🏻 that anyone reading this comment this far with me still is blessed 😇 by God by this AMAZING praise ALL for THE GLORY OF GOD!!! AMEN HALLELUJAH!!!
Lord, please bless the person reading this.May their family, health & finances be blessed. I pray that the windows of Heaven open up over their lives and that YOU pour out a blessing that changes their hearts and keep them safe. In Jesus Matchless Name.AMEN
This is what my childhood was all about! Those days when we did Vigilias (Vigils?) It was like pajama party at church. Those songs here in Dominican Republic when the worship group started with gospel style and finish with merengue🤩🤩🤩 just loved it!
These songs just hit so differently. Hearing this brought so many memories and tears. With my grandma just recently passing at the age of 91 due to covid. She was always singing her coritos.
Yo aprendí estos coritos en los carismáticos de la religion Católica Romana!, pero ahora como rescatada por Cristo Jesús amo recordar y ver como ÉL siempre estuvo cuidando de mis pasos en todo momento.
Oh look at Papi lindo enjoying himself 😍😍😍 After watching the whole video Papi lindo is still the best part of it. Got me teary eyed watching so much joy and love And I‘m a Muslim. Praise the Lord for we are all brothers and sister’s 🤲🏽
Wow this has taken me back to when I received Jesus into my life at the age of 18 at small but spiritually filled church in my home town of Passaic, NJ. Such great memories. Worship songs that filled my heart with God’s presence. I am now 60 yrs old. God is sooo good. Thank you for sharing. 🙏
Whew!!! It’s Throwback Thursday for me! Praise you Lord! 😭😭😭😭 We sang these growing up in a Spanish speaking church not knowing a lick of Spanish. Oh the memories. Thank you guys. Now we lead worship in a church and sing these songs in English, Spanish and My husband sings them in Romanian.
I listen to this everyday remembering mi abuela's Iglesias. These are the songs I used to sing in th4 church with her wh3n I was a kid. Just wish I had the cymbals to play while listening to this
Praying for everyone here who's experiencing depression, anxiety, those who lost their jobs that God grant them healing and restoration of their faith. Amen
That little medley book was blue and other’s were burgundy in the church where my awela raised us and it was called “Himnos de Triunfo y Gloria.” (Hymns of Glory and Triumph) Matter of fact, my mom still goes to the same church, they still have those same hymnals and they STILL sing from it!!! Amazing how worldly songs go away and most get forgotten but Christian songs NEVER go out of style. I love Jesus! And I’m glad I have the relationship I & my family have with him. Glory to God!
Aleluya...!!!🙌🙌🙌🔥🔥🔥
This was so uplifting and made me miss my parents who pastored a small Spanish speaking church back in the day. The Lord is so loving and kind. He gives you what you need and you didn't even know you needed it. God Bless you all!! 🥰 Thank you Lord 🙌🙌

En La Cruz
Me hirió el pecado, fui a Jesús.
Mostréle mi dolor;
Perdido, errante, vi su luz,
Bendijo me en su amor.
Coro
En la cruz, en la cruz,
Do primero Vi la luz,
Y las manchas de mi alma yo lave;
Fue allí por fe do vi a Jesús,
Y siempre feliz con el seré.
Sobre una cruz, mi buen Señor
Su sangre derramo,
Por este pobre pecador
A quien así salvo.
Venció la muerte con poder,
Y al cielo se exalto;
Confiar en El es mi placer,
Morir no temo yo.
Aunque El se fue solo no estoy;
Mandó al Consolador;
Divino Espíritu, que hoy
Me da perfecto amor.

Praise you Holy Trinity 🙏
Thank you Israel for these beautiful coritos please please do part 2 and may God continue to bless you, loved ones and ministry abundantly.
Nunca en mi vida pensé que iba a ver a Israel cantando coritos jajajajaja this makes me SO HAPPY!!!!!!!
nada es imposible para Dios.jijijij. bendiciones.
En la Cruz - At the Cross
At the cross, at the cross where
I first saw the light,
And the burden of my heart rolled away,
It was there by faith I received my sight,
And now I am happy all the day!
Come on😭😭🙌🏿Thank you for the translation, NEEDED IT!Bless you sis🙌🏿❤️
I can't understand a word they are saying but I'm over hear swaying back and forth, praising God!
I feel the same , I thank god I got a chance to experience those coros
Yo tambien creci con ellos y tengo 35. Gloria a Dios!
I’m only 21 and I thank god my grandpa was our pastor to sing these songs I’m glad I got to play these uplifting songs
My God! I don’t speak Spanish but felt the spirit of God - Lord I feel like running!! You guys have blessed my soul! Papi keep singing!
Living in El Salvador, I really felt it as my own when Lucia Parker said "yes, we sang them". She's making all of us back in SV so proud!
Yess 🥺😭
Definitely!
🇸🇻🇸🇻🇸🇻❤️
Whoever is reading this May God bless you with many blessings in your future. For God is not the author of confusion but of peace.

Good ypser your wife with you❤ so beautiful.
I'm sorry, but did Papi just sing in Spanish, "it was there by faith I received Jesus"??? Now I feel like I've been singing it wrong all these years! Because even Blind folks could be "happy All the Day" if they found Jesus! Wow !
In heaven there's ONLY 1 LANGUAGE AND THAT'S THE LANGUAGE OF LOVE FOR God and THE Lord JESUS Christ.
I sand this songs in my Catholic Church as well
yes, but the catholics sing this just since the 80s before everything was in Latin...
@@gladystita21 hi Sis. Not completely true. I was singing songs like these in the late 60’s. Received by first Bible when i was 10. That was in 1968.

I’m sobbing right now cause I’m missing my grandma soo bad. I used to go to church with her when I was a kid and would sing coritos too. She’s been gone 10 years but I know she’s with her savior.
Same here!! Also missing my grandpa! God bless you!
These songs have been engraved in my heart, growing up in an Apostolic Assembly church!
Ahí I can’t even sleep y’all it’s 1:30 AM and my body….. Mmmmhhh Holy spirit is awake 🙌… WoopWhoop
Didn’t grow up in a Spanish speaking church, yet these songs FEEL so familiar. God’s love and joy is boundless.
Till this day our pastor likes it when we take it back old school with these songs on Sunday 🙌🏼🙌🏼 the anointing of these songs will never fade.

Nothing better then hearing our elderly worship
I'm Salvadorian and I think all Latin America a lot of us grew up on coritos and I appreciate it more now that I am an adult.... I get a tingly feeling.... I think it's the seed mommy planted.....😇😇😇
No importa cuantos años tengas, los coritos se cantan anywhere everyplace! ❤️❤️ Gracias Israel for such a gift

Adrienne voice sounds amazing singing to the Lord and in Spanish qué Dios los bendiga Glory to Jesus 🙏🏾 🙏🏾 🙏🏾 Dios es maravilloso. Me encantaaaa. Glória a Dios
Okay, never been blown away by worship in another language like in this script. May God keep rewarding you guys.
I was raised in an Hispanic church and they played these songs all the time growing up but sadly we lost our senior pastor to covid this year he was in his Early 90s now every thing has changed they stopped singing these songs about 5 or 10 years ago. So thank you for bringing back memories. God bless you
Just seeing how Latinos and African Americans can all sound so beautiful together
When papi Lindo started singing I broke in to tears. These songs remind me so much of my buela singing them around the house.
Thank you for the memories 🥺💖

I love how Adrienne is so proud of her hispanicness! Always representing! So nice to watch❤️
The absolute best thing about watching everyone rejoicing is the smiles and joy on your faces
These songs just hit so differently. Hearing this brought so many memories and tears. With my grandma just recently passing at the age of 91 due to covid. She was always singing her coritos.
May God bless and comfort you.
Yo aprendí estos coritos en los carismáticos de la religion Católica Romana!, pero ahora como rescatada por Cristo Jesús amo recordar y ver como ÉL siempre estuvo cuidando de mis pasos en todo momento.
Oh look at Papi lindo enjoying himself 😍😍😍
After watching the whole video Papi lindo is still the best part of it.
Yes!! I'm from Paterson, NJ!!
I’m from Piscataway NJ!! But when to church in Plainfield NJ
Wow wow when the Dad started singing solo. I got goosebumps and teary eyes. I have no knowledge of Spanish but man I felt that!!!
Whew!!! It’s Throwback Thursday for me! Praise you Lord! 😭😭😭😭
We sang these growing up in a Spanish speaking church not knowing a lick of Spanish.
Amen
I play the drums at a pentecostal church and we still sing coritos every single sunday!
Una mirada de fe, es lo que necesitamos hoy en día, que hermosos cantos del ayer
🔥
That's was beautiful awww, pure joy!! Even though I don't understand Spanish
That little medley book was blue and other’s were burgundy in the church where my awela raised us and it was called “Himnos de Triunfo y Gloria.” (Hymns of Glory and Triumph)
Matter of fact, my mom still goes to the same church, they still have those same hymnals and they STILL sing from it!!! Amazing how worldly songs go away and most get forgotten but Christian songs NEVER go out of style. I love Jesus! And I’m glad I have the relationship I & my family have with him. Glory to God!
Yo! Papi has the Holy Spirit. I felt that and was over here singing in English.
My childhood growing up in a Pentecostal church singing all these coritos. En la Cruz, that’s a blanket of comfort for me today as an adult ❤️
Catholic here and we used to sing all of these during mass. Amen
Same!
All the old worship leaders in the hispanic churches got that movement 😂✊🏼
Pentecostals on fire 🔥
Indeed it is 🙏
Aleluya...!!!🙌🙌🙌🔥🔥🔥
This was so uplifting and made me miss my parents who pastored a small Spanish speaking church back in the day. The Lord is so loving and kind. He gives you what you need and you didn't even know you needed it. God Bless you all!! 🥰
Thank you Lord 🙌🙌
Oh, singing the songs in Swahili. God is for us ALL. All glory and honor to Him.
