Donggu fits the cast perfectly and is the reason why I keep watching it. His personality is so different from the others but blends in perfectly and it doesn't clash. They need Dong-gu here. Not everyone should be funny and silly. They need someone who is serious and mature but still know how to have fun. Just like when they went to Ehwa Women’s University they at least have Dong-gu to give a serious speech. Dong-gu is funny without trying, he may not be a comedian or silly like others but everyone of them has their own roles in the show. Junho is the comedian, Jongmin is the silly one, Defconn is in charge of strength and food, Junyoung is the weird and childish one and Taehyun is in charge of laughter. Variety shouldn’t be all laugh sometimes you should learn something from it,and this show not only shows beautiful places and food, it also teaches history and culture in Korea. So they need Dong-gu here! Stop hating just because you don’t like someone. If you don’t like him then ignore him. He’s not forcing you to like him. Stop spreading hate.
Some people have concerns about Donggu. Some people even say he will leave. I dont think it will happen. He may acts a little differently than before since the fan letter maybe? The letter freed him from a pressure to be funny. He may feel more comfortable this way. And then his charms come out. This has always been the case. The more you rush, the more you fail in a variety show.He just became more natural than before. And I like it. Not everyone needs to be funny. The other members still mention him during the show and make fun of him sometimes. His role is not being the funny one. He is more like a guy who is serious and smart but doesnt play games well (at least at the moment. It may change as well in the future.) I think he is building his own identity. People may get irritated if a member behaves in an unnatural way. This is a reality show. His being quiet gives other members more time to make funny jokes. Donggu's laugh might be just enough then. I never thought that he was the best casting. Not even close. But now he is a part of that family. I like the family as a whole.
I hope shiyoon knows that it is his clumsy and innoncent/naive way that makes us like him. They way his clumsy way makes him lose is what makes it fun and sweet. (9 pieces 😁) And when he does diverge from the 'honest path' and join Junho it's priceless. Let's hope shiyoon and taehyun gets enough rest and are rdy for 2d1n

ngl i found siyoon pretty insipid at the start, however, i feel that he's matured as a tv personality and is more natural. he's still kind and conscientious but it doesn't feel as forced as before, and his remarks have become more witty and complemented the other members' banter. he is now an imperical part of the team.
