I cannot express how much better this commentary is compared to the literal SHOUTcasting done by the Niantic hosts.
The commentators are told to be extra, there's a certain approach they're asked to take with their casting styles. I love the hype and energy they go at even mundane plays with.
@@thegreatgambeeno Yeah and it's exhausting to listen to and takes away from the hype when competitors actually make great plays. Especially when they hype "will it kill!?!??" when a charge attack clearly does half the remaining HP.
Tournaments with announcers all do the exciting voice overs of matches and whatnot. You must be new to this buddy.
