Agree with your take and I found when I reviewed it that it's pretty solid value, definitely one of the better ones recently. Hopefully more will grab one as they're really great.

That looks much better than the “Speedmaster.” I’m still banned from buying anymore watches but this is definitely in contention for my next purchase even though I can already hear “Why do you need another chronograph? You’ve got the Daytona and I like that one.”
I have the Pagani 43mm Submariner Hulk Homage and it's been a great watch, but it does run a few seconds out being an automatic. I just ordered this exact watch, mainly because I think Pagani is one of the better built watches on Aliexpress, there's a lot of junk out there. I also want a decent amount of waterproof, I would probably not dive with a 100 meter, but they are good enough to go swimming, wash the car, take a bath etc.. The other reason is I'm a taller guy and have larger wrists, hands, so a 40mm looks like a girls watch on me, I like the 43mm size. Thanks for the review, I hope that when mine arrives it's just as nice.
Thanks for the review. A pretty watch for sure but by no stretch of the imagination is it a "diver". 100 Metres WR must be a typo since 10 metres would be wishful thinking with non screw down pushers.

Price is more than reasonable, I guess - especially considering the watch, you're not getting here ;-) - like one with seconds hand, screw-down pushers/crown, a satisfying brand identity. Falls a bit into the impulse buying category. Would anybody buy a cheap Chinese "hommage" to a Levis/G-Star jeans on AliExpress and proudly walk around wearing it? Why does this work with watches? Saving up for the real deal would probably yield real redemption :-).
Unfortunately not everyone has the capacity to save and enjoy the real thing but I do think everyone deserves to have a watch that makes them feel special and that can be this for a lot of people! We're the lucky few that can afford such luxuries and be able to treat this as a impulse buy 😁

Jason, I love your reviews. Keep them coming. But dude, you're getting sloppy... You keep in referring to homage watches by their trademarked names. For example, you say PDs Speed master, instead of , PDs Speedmaster homage. Careful dude! This watch is very pretty. I love the colors and the Brosnan Bond style bracelet. But I would never get it. I hate that Seiko Mecha-quartz movement. The 24 hour time subdial bugs me to no end. Totally useless! It could have been an hour accu!mulator or something actually useful. I just got rid of a Spinnaker with that same movement. But I do appreciate your covering more watches in the sub $100 range.
I believe Pagani Design source their watches from quite a few different watches factories. Why else are there such a significant differences in terms of quality? Or why else is these decent lume on some watches and other watches' lume ist just rubbish?
I considered buying this watch when the Speedy homage turned out so bad. But I decided not to reward Pagani, specially after the final version of the Speedy turned out so different from the initial renderings they showed everyone. That chapped my ass even worse than the actual watch itself. They should be ashamed of themselves, but I get the feeling that the Chinese don't feel shame since it's so common for them to lie about their products.
I'm surprised they just don't but the screwdown pushers they use on the royal oak homage on all their watches to give them 200m ..... u haven't got me this time Jason lol I do have an Arnie and 2 casios on the way tho woooooooo!!

I was very interested in this one but the 15mm thickness scared me off. I'm not sure why they went so thick on a watch with a quartz movement.
