I'm a therapist and an actor-writer. My two cents are this: the soul is basically bottomless. The self is nebulous. Our stories are fungible, shifting. Therapy does not exorcise the wounds. It might give us more awareness, more centeredness, confidence, or more control. That's a good thing. But the well of your inner resources is always there for your performance or story.
