ABOUT THIS GAME
The missions undertaken by the crews of B-17 bombers during World War II are the stuff of legend. What was it like to fly through relentless anti-aircraft fire over Nazi-occupied Europe? What was it like to have a thin layer of steel between life and death at 15,000 feet? How did it feel to furiously fend off enemy fighters zipping around your plane and then to precisely deliver your payload over enemy targets?
Find out for yourself as you lead a 10-man crew to victory... or defeat... against squadrons of Nazi warplanes in the legendary B-17 Flying Fortress!
Redux
The same experience remastered with the original engine upgraded to support the functionality present in DX 12. Working on the redux will give us the opportunity to look back and learn in order to push forward with future Flying Fortress titles.

This is honestly completely true for me. My parents were divorcing during the time of C-Cup, which is one series I watched through and through.

You still love those 90 degree formation turns after the bomb run with damaged bombers, don't ya? It's almost like you think, "Nah! This mission's not dangerous enough... how can I thin out the herd a little?" 😂🤣🤣🤣🙃
I would say that with the heavy cloud cover, you did well to get what the boffins rated as "near miss". But even so, the U-boat pens were obliterated, sinking 3 U-boats for a nice cherry on the top! The RN thanks you!
Great episode taff, ignore that near miss report..that was bullseye, right on target. That amount of devastation is going to ensure that the Kriegsmarine will have it's U-boat operations restricted good and proper, any repairs going on that facility have been wiped out and anything still operative is now effectively wiped off the face of the earth, 3x U-boats sunk also, so that's a perfect bonus. Bit of a stinger for the locals to have their homes destroyed like that but hey.. it's war.. the fog of war is cruel to all.. armed and unarmed.. don't make it easier or pleasant but hopefully those locals had taken shelter, they should be grateful your group is fighting for freedom.. the best thing is everyone came back safely, and better still the crew has just 5x more flights left.. they'll be going home soon by the looks of it, so.. something else to be grateful for. Great episode, loved it.. your B17 series is the best.. just the best in regards of bombers. Keep it up and well done mate 👏👍

nice sortie Taff, I imagine you got scolded for hitting the sub pen instead of the fishing vessels you were assigned to hit XD. anyway best of luck with the next sorties, I do hope you get sent to berlin or Hamburg with plenty of 190s and 262sa to keep things interesting for you. Thank you Taff!

What's that noise after the explosions from the air burst? It's a similar sound when you shoot cans with a BB gun. I'm guessing it's your planes being peppered? This game is still amazing, even though weird things happen.
Yeah, it's the fuselage being hit by Shrapnel from the flak bursts
HI Taff , a question, morale is fairly low across the crew, if you swap them out between missions does this lift morale??
