    Thank God you guys were safe!!!! I had my place broken into in January. I was coming home from work and found my window broken and my laptop stolen and all my stuff thrown around it was total bs! I was pissed and it stressed me out for a long time. Thankfully I wasn’t home because I don’t know what else would’ve happened. People are stupid and have nothing better to do then ruin people’s entire mood and interrupt their life.. 💜💜

    reminds me of one time I thought I was home alone and heard someone go into the bathroom and slam the door (even though I had seen no one come into the house because where I was sitting I had a view of the stairs.) Turns out my sister was home too but my heart was beating so fast, my anxiety was back in full force, i ran outside and tried to get my dogs to come with me and was about to call 911 before my rational mind came back and I realised my sister was home. It obviously wasn't to the extent that you experienced, but I have pretty bad paranoia too, mostly at night and the fear is debilitating so I understand that flight or fight response.
    I hope you recover mentally soon, at least you're safe- that I'm glad of. Praying for y'all 💜

      I had it too. But I never realized it was that bad until one day I heard someone knocking at my front door and I know I was home alone at that time. My dad went away for work, my brothers both stayed at my mom's at that time (my parent've divorced) and my sister wasn't back from work yet. I was in my room at that time, so I went downstairs and peeked through the window straight from the stairs. It was dark (at night), there's this one motorcycle and the sound of people whoever they are, were talking and making noises. I was so scared to open the door bcs I thought if it's my sister she could just open the door and the grill cause she definitely have the keys. But these guy or guys I didn't know how many people, kept on knocking and it gets louder. I was like oh what I'm going to do, is people trying to break into my house and all of those scary thought that paranoia people could think of. I texted my dad and sister. My dad said he's far from home to make it on time so he told me to contact my sister. She's too still at work and I was like oh do I call 911 or what. I'm sweating and shaking so bad I'm hiding at my dad's bedroom upstairs to stay as far as possible from the front door. The knocking were getting louder, my sister texted me saying she got some of her friends who live near to come and check out what's going on and I was like please hurry up. It felt like forever then at the end it was actually one of my brother. He went home without telling me and forgot to bring the keys. He kept knocking louder cause he thought I was sleeping and his phone died so he couldn't call. The noises and people talking that I heard actually came from my neighbor I think they got friend came over at their house so they were talking loudly outside near my house. It was all a mess like I was scolded by my sister for being too paranoid, my dad was halfway through to get home from work when he found out that I was okay so he drove back to work and I think I could get arrested for false call if I ever did call the 911 at that time. So the conclusion is bad paranoia really need to be treated before it become more serious.

      Nurul Afiqah I’ve tried to talk to a doctor, they just palm me off to some group thing that didn’t go anywhere. It comes in waves, sometimes it’s really bad and I don’t trust anything and everything around me doesn’t feel real, right now i’m fine but it gets pretty bad with paranoia of fires and such. I hope you get help for it soon, I understand how hard it is. Good luck, have a good day!

      Aw thank you! Yep it really is hard for me to feel safe especially if I heard sounds and noises but couldn't found the sources or I heard noises upstairs and assume people fell down in the bathroom (anything related to the bathroom made me paranoid) and running to check if anyone's okay. I hope you could get help and overcome it too. Have a good day ❤

      this happened to me too i heard someone walk through the door and they were being really loud so i hid in my room and called my dad and my voice was so shaken i couldn’t get the words out that i thought someone broke in so i hung up and called 911 and while it was still ringing i looked at the time and saw it was the time my sister got home from school but i didn’t think it was her because i didn’t hear her bus go by and i thought she was staying after school for a club that day

    Back in 2016 my house got robbed. I was in 8th grade and I stayed late after school bc my dad was working late and I walked to my brother and sisters school where they were in r-club so I have shelter. Around 5:30 my dad came to pick us up and I had this feeling the whole time that something wasn’t right and I had this thought about our house being robbed and how it was my worst fear prior to that. Probably even that ride home I thought of it. Once we got there we unlocked the door and I was walking to my room but as I went to grab the door handle I heard my dad say “what the hell?” And i look over and papers were scattered across the kitchen floor. Then my sister said “um dad the tv is gone” and I’ll never forget the tone my dads voice was when he said “oh my god we’ve been robbed”. It was the sound of agony and pain and it was something you’d never want to hear from your dad especially as a 13 year old girl. I immediately broke down and had an anxiety attack. Wasn’t my first one but definitely the worst and I bust open my bedroom door and I see my blankets all over my floor, my tv gone and my underwear drawer wide open and it was clearly rummaged through. It was the most disturbing situation of my life and to this day even writing this I get anxiety attacks. That night I had my door wide open just in case someone comes in again and I can quickly protect my family if I needed to. And I usually like having my tv on during the night but since I didn’t have one I was okay with it bc I wanted to hear everything. Every little thing o heard woke me up whether it was the fridge, the ac, my parents talking, anything. I even had a very hard time sleeping and to this day everytime I come home I get anxiety opening the door bc I’m scared I’m not going to see the living room tv there or the top lock with be locked just like how it was the day the robbery happened so if we came home while they were stealing things they could hear us and I always think of that day whenever I come home. I even check the gate to my backyard bc that was open that day too. Ever since that day I’ve been diagnosed with anxiety and depression. It’s been hard even two years later. Everyday I’m scared it’s going to happen all over again. Everyday I think about how I ran outside after my dad pulled me out of my room sobbing having an anxiety attack and me falling to the grass waiting for my mom to get home. I couldn’t stop shaking for the rest of the night. My grandparents took us kids to McDonald’s and everyone I looked at I was mad at bc I thought about each person in there robbing my house. It’s such a traumatic experience and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. You’re very brave.

    I totally understand how you felt & feel. My house was broken into last month while I was the only one home. They banged on my front door & when I didn't answer, I heard them & watched them jump the fence into my backyard & they broke through the window right next to my room & I had to lock myself in my room. I called the cops & waited for them. As I was waiting it out, I just listened to this person walking through my home. As soon as this person tried to come into my room, he heard me yell he's trying to come into my room & I watched this guy run out of my house through the window he got into. He tried to run & hide into somebody's back yard, but when the cops got here they let their dogs out & they caught him. It's the worst feeling, you don't know people's intentions & you feel like your home is forever touched. You feel helpless & I cried myself to sleep after it happened & I just didn't feel comfortable in my own home anymore. I bought cameras that surround my whole house. I am so glad you & Sandra are okay, with time I promise it gets better, take time on yourself & your healing. Prayers to you guys.

    I know its been a while
    But if you haven't told that 911 operator since how grateful you were and how well you thought she did, you should find out who she was and thank her. I'm a 911 operator and often times the cops or medics will get shown gratitude but the 911 operators rarely do. We aren't there to resolve situations, just to get the initial brunt of it. It's nice to know that we really make a difference and that someone cares about us too.

    This is my biggest fear, because as soon as you walk in, my room is right there, and the door of my mom and dads room doesn’t lock, my house is also kinda small, so there’s no where to hide. Guy was caught however.... A lot of neighborhoods only have street parking/no driveways, so it's hard to tell which cars go with which houses. It might be the same way in Andrea's neighborhood. It was dumb of them to think nobody would be home at 9 am though.

    Random but important side note: This is why it's so important to PULL OVER for emergency vehicles when you're driving! Not only is it the law but 30 seconds could mean life and death to someone. The cops could have been delayed simply because people wouldn't move their cars to the side of the road. My aunt is a first responder working in an ambulance and people have literally died because cars wouldn't allow the ambulance to break through traffic.
    But anyways I'm just glad that you and Sandra are both safe, Andrea. Love you ❤️

    • @charliesaz0626

      Do people not pull over for the police in America?

    • @clg420
      @clg420 6 лет назад +8

      We're supposed to but it's not uncommon for people to either just slow down or keep going full speed instead of pulling over completely and stopping.

    • @charliesaz0626
      @charliesaz0626 6 лет назад +14

      clg420 omg that's really bad, in the UK everyone gets well out of the way when an emergency vehicle is coming through and you can be fined if you obstruct it.

    • @Chessr283
      @Chessr283 6 лет назад +4

      Wtf.. here in Texas everyone respects that rule, and react quickly as possible

    • @xYummyBieber
      @xYummyBieber 6 лет назад +2

      We're supposed to but a lot of people don't or they take too much time thinking about WHERE to pull over. Like just get out of the way of the emergency vehicle, it's that simple! There is no right or wrong place to go as long as you are making a clear path for it to get to the person at risk

    Tbh I honestly think you should go to a therapist. This type of situation would cause even the most strong willed, stable person to experience some PTSD. There’s no shame in getting Help and I think someone could really help you to work through these feelings and hyper awareness. I struggled with PTSD from domestic violence for years and it doesn’t have to be like this forever. Take care of yourself. Mentally and physically. Much love.

      Agreed, my house was broken into and more than anything it's the sounds and the not knowing that affects you the most. I was in my basement hiding for literally an hour and a half but it seemed like 10 minutes. Not to mention afterwards I only slept an hour a day for about 3 weeks straight. Therapy would of been a huge help i just didn't realize i needed it.

    • @heather-xz9cu
      @heather-xz9cu 6 лет назад +67

      there are multiple people living in Jason's house & the apartment, not to mention, it's honestly their call & if they don't care then it's whatever. plus, I honestly don't think the people who robbed Andrea and Sandra knew who they were. people with fame are probably less of targets for this kind of thing because they have the money to purchase protection (like an alarm system) & from what Andrea said, the people who robbed them were clearly trying to avoid any contact with people & weren't looking to harm anyone. if they knew there was an alarm system, etc. they would've dashed.
