This show was taped at what is now Disney's Hollywood Studios. This soundstage was closed to make way for an attraction. I've never saw this version when it was on the Disney Channel back in 1989. This is the teen version of the show.
I laughed so hard through the whole show... and then you started dancing. About 5 minutes later I picked myself up off the floor, finally able to breathe again... You are amazing, Wil. :D
And who cannot forget the sound when the timer runs out, it's the infamous illegal clue sound effect lifted from "Password Plus" and "Super Password", and as you know, "Super Password" was hosted by Bert Convy, the same guy that created "Win, Lose & Draw" and hosted Bert's version of the show.
I'm one of the kids in this video ... the one who (at that time) didn't know wtf a banjo was so I drew sax instead ... lol. If it wasn't because of the fact that the girl drew an amoeba with a black eye instead of a racoon, we woulda been toast, lol.
Brooklyn Twelve That's cool you were in the episode. I just saw you! Don't feel bad. I messed up and made our girl team lose and the boys won the coveted ski trip to Colorado when I was on. Our answer was volleyball and I totally biffed it. Seems so lame looking back now, tho. Being on TV makes it MUCH harder.
If this was shot in July of 1989, my mum could've been at the hospital at that very moment, delivering me to this world. I kept thinking about it the whole episode. Wish I knew the exact date it was made...
I was on this in 1989 with Josie Davis but obviously a different episode. She was a stuck up biatch. Brian Austin Green was the boy's celeb and he was really sweet and kind. Gotta keep searching for my episode!
OurLove4Dance In the backstage area room before the show where we were supposed to hang with the stars she ignored us by talking on a phone to her friend about her brand new car, how much her Mom was a jerk and then ordering around PAs to 'Get me some gum! Now!' Brian Austin Green was actually kind and spent the whole time asking us about ourselves. She was nice to us on camera, tho. A shame because I liked her on Charles in Charge.
OurLove4Dance You're very welcome. I should also say that looking back I feel kind of bad for labeling about Josie Davis. We were teenagers back then so it shouldn't be taken too seriously. That's how most teens act but in contrast she wasn't as nice as Brian Austin Green was. I was definitely impressed by his demeanor even after all these years. Anyways, glad I was able to answer your question. Have a nice day!
Of course if Wil were to redo this and compete, the clues "Time, Phone Booth, Movie" would cause him to say "The Paul McGann Doctor Who movie from 1996!"
This is so funny I started laughing so hard cause I’m a very dirty minded person so some of the drawings just looked inappropriate but funny, omg Wil looked so good haha 😂 ❤️
Hi everyone, In regards to "Teen Win, Lose or Draw" episodes, one episode I used to have on VHS taped off of Disney Channel featured Josie Davis of TV's "Charles in Charge" (also on this episode with Wil Wheaton) and the future voice of "Disney's Aladdin," Scott Weinger (then appearing opposite Gregory Harrison on TV's "Family Man"). The tape I had the episode on sadly broke several years ago, but I DO remember Marc Price's Caricature reading next to it "Hawaii or Bust." I HOPE & Pray to God someone can find that episode for me, cause I'd love to see that one again. It'd bring back Happy, Pleasant Memories of watching that episode as a 7-year-old boy. SHEESH! At age 37 I'm REALLY showing my age. LOL!!! Hopefully after the New Year 2022, if not sooner, someone who has that episode will Digitize it and upload it to RUclips. I plan on downloading the episode DAY ONE when that happens. Thanks in advance. Danny Hooley
Oh sure! Mark Price invites kids to party in his driveway and it's a cute TV show, and Mr. Wilson on the corner does it and the cops have to show up. Nice earring Wil.
You DO need to reprise this episode as a tabletop special. With Felicia Day and Chad Hardwick on opposite teams, I just want to see how they would compete. Bwahaha
There is a tv show for this running right now? I know it is a pictionary knock-off. There is even a physical copy of Draw Something, which is a marketing Hail Mary.
Falchion Malacandra I know your post is 3 years old but I was on the '89 version with Josie Davis as our girl team celeb and she was really snobby and ignored us off camera. I saw the reboot version Disney tried to make and it looked very much imho like Raini Rodriguez was the same way to her team mates. The new host (who was a magician) caught her using her phone between takes. So he did a trick where he enveloped her phone into a balloon and handed it back to her. She looked initially pissed off but her celebrity side kicked in and pretended like she was impressed.
"Marc Price's wardrobe provided by Benetton."
Oh, 80s.
Wil Wheaton why were you watching yourself you saddo
@@marcierose9857 don't judge this amazing boi. If we're being honest it's kinda sad anyone's here.

Young Wil Wheaton was adorable! Look at that smile! OMG!

Will Wheaton you were so adorable!! Love this!!!! :-)
Awe a young Wil Wheaton! This video was an awesome find! Thanks for uploading it!
I laughed so hard through the whole show... and then you started dancing. About 5 minutes later I picked myself up off the floor, finally able to breathe again... You are amazing, Wil. :D
I love how there's a jar of Skippy peanut butter in the drawing of Mark Price.
I saw that episode when it aired. I remember that I specifically watched it to see Wil. I feel old now.

I am amazed that this was a tv show. Really great though. I wish there were shows like this still.
I didn't expect to enjoy it that much. :)

I was a month old when this came out...
I love how genuinely upset Wil looks at around 21:50 when the girls might win.
Nice, I like how Wil doesn't know how to react when Marc is complimenting his fame. Wil, you really are just a nerd like the rest of us aren't you?
young Will was sporting some BLING!!!
"Hey, cross-eyed cows are a funy thing!" - Classic Wheaton *loool*

i-i can't repel 80s-ness of this magnitude.
Did young Wil have... an earring?

Berlin Saint Clair How was she a stuck bitch. Please explain what happened. Thanks.

Berlin Saint Clair Yeah she seemed too sweet here. You have a great one too
I can't decide if the "raccoon" or banjo (saxophone) pictures are better.... =o
23:53 I bet Josie Davis is thinking "CURSE YOU WIL WHEATON!!!"
He still is adorable!
I know I was like they will never get that because that is not even close to a banjo hahahaha
That raccoon has me deaddds😭😂😂😂
Watching this stressed me out.
I love that the ginger boy heard "ball" and "holes" and came up with - MICHAEL JACKSON!!
Josie is still a very lovely lady to this day!
2005dave not according to Berlin Saint Clair!
Yes. She was so sweet when I met her in the 80's
Marc Price, The one who played Skippy on Family Ties.
awkward 80 teenage hi-5. Awesome!
Anyone else find it awesome that the part-time pilot of a fake spaceship was going to go play on a real one?
Of course if Wil were to redo this and compete, the clues "Time, Phone Booth, Movie" would cause him to say "The Paul McGann Doctor Who movie from 1996!"
Wil❤️
❤️❤️❤️
May wil wheaton
Did you at least get to keep the rad artwork?
WOW, it took 8 minutes for me to ask myself "am I really watching this?!", nonetheless it's a nice blast from the past :p
So glad the 80s are behind us... lol
This is so funny I started laughing so hard cause I’m a very dirty minded person so some of the drawings just looked inappropriate but funny, omg Wil looked so good haha 😂 ❤️
Dirty minded girl? 😍
space camp... SWEET~!!
I don't remember what brought me here.
Has that girl ever seen a raccoon before?!
LOL AT least you guys won I got worried there.
Oh wow it's Skippy
The time-up buzzer sound, Wasn't that also used on Password Plus/Super Password when an illegal clue was given?
I wonder how tall Josie Davis is?
Do you mean Chris Hardwick?
At 18:26 she already said "lovebird" but the judges must've missed it.

"What are you gonna end up doing?"
"A lawyer"
... ohhhhh yeaaahhhh
So did you go to space camp or were you not aloud? I am confused on how the celebrities worked on this game...
Anyone have the episode with David Faustino and Tiffany brissette. My sister and I were on that show
Girls won the toin coss?
Anyone else really curious if Keri ended up being a lawyer?
Keri did not become a lawyer, she is in the accounting field. Ironically her brother became the lawyer.
i feel like if a squirrel got turned into a human by a witch, that squirrel would be Wil Wheaton
I'm not saying wil is a squirrel turned into a human, but he might be
Wil Wheaton stole birdseed from me yesterday is what I'm saying
Oh sure! Mark Price invites kids to party in his driveway and it's a cute TV show, and Mr. Wilson on the corner does it and the cops have to show up.
Nice earring Wil.
Okay, those are the worst bear and alligators I've ever seen drawn in my life. I can't draw at all, and I can do better than that.
Yes, she knows... and I did not have to sleep on the couch that night.
Their was a teen version of Win Lose Or Draw???
Yep ! 😁
