I agree with Scooter, please consider making more videos about antenna mounting on an RV. I for one do enjoy these. 73's and Safe travels via N4ZDX

I'm running the Comet SBB-5 on my vehicle, it's a great antenna with pretty good performance.

To be honest I was expecting a rotator for a yagi, a raise/lower, the Diamond K110 does it for me, i know its manual, but it sits nicely on the gutter and can get in the car-parks we have here in the UK which are typically 2 meters 10cm high. I think the motorized is a good idea, but given what I already have (K110), seems alot of time for not so much advantage. Good video tho for thos looking for a motorized antenna who may not already have a mount for /M work.

You are right, and what a great Idea.
I motorized yagi mount. I might just put one together. A fun project indeed. Thanks

What about a ground plane? Is there a provision for that?

Well, my camper had aluminum sides. However, since the recent crash , I no longer have my camper.

Does the motor automatically stop if you continue to hold down the up or down button? I’m just curious if this thing is smart enough to know it’s own limits before buying.
    Thanks for posting!

Yes, it does have limit switches for up and down. Very easy to operate

@@hamradiowithkevin I don’t see it on the description. I’m looking for the longer antenna that u said would bounce and put a hole in your roof. The long silver colored one. Thnx!
