    you could plug in a S0239 connector to that mast throw down some radials and you got a vertical

    I like that much more than the fishing pole. You could put any kind ot antenna on that.

      Any Army surplus store ought to have them.

      Yes, the prices have probably gone up since I paid for mine. Army surplus stores have been the win for me.

      Do you mean my 70cm / 2m antenna mount ? That was a comet lips mount

      I found the category of "door jamb antenna mounts" after commenting. So now I have that all to look into.
      I had thought about putting a "permanent" Meshtastic LoRa radio on my Dodge Caravan, but I don't want to drill holes or mark it up unless I have to.
      Putting in a CB would be nice, but we'll see what I can get away with.

      Physically, I might be able to balance 6 or so. A windy day might influence that number ;)
