- In this video I show you how to bake a cake in an orange. This is a fantastic way to make a simple and wonderfully delicious dessert in the outdoors or at home on the barbecue.

As an aspiring chef myself, I could totally see a version of this on the dessert plates of a Michelin-star restaurant. Cinnamon-spiced, dark chocolate molten lava cake (cooked cake all the way around, but with a rich, liquid/runny center) with a dash of orange liqueur (triple sec).... all inside a hollowed-out orange, garnished with orange segments. If this ever catches on, I'll credit your video!

I have been looking at a lot of videos about fun stuff to do outside in a cold climate because we just bought a couple hundred acres in the mountains. We are from the south where it is too hot to go outside most of the year. LOL!

I was so excited to see how to bake a cake in an orange and, not only this video, but was absolutely amazed to view your outstanding and incredible idea of cooking an egg in a potato. Since I was an American Girl Scout leader in Texas some years back, I taught many survival techniques, but you hit the tops in showing how easy a hard situation can warm the taste buds when we are in the wilderness.
