  • You asked to see my workshop and here it is! We don't just say that we are guided by what you want to see, we are! We hope you find some value in something in this video.
A workshop is a very personal thing, created as an extension of one's process and, it makes sense that, it varies depending on the kind of work you're doing. It makes sense for me in many ways and I love how it's constantly EVOLVING and developing character.
This is the workshop I've recently put together for our new RETAIL STORE in Henley-on-Thames. It's called 'JEWELLERY WORKS' and we're very proud to share that we have opened our doors, for the first time, last week.
We've been incredibly busy! Setting up, planning and putting our love into the shop and although the doors are open, the work is very much just beginning.
So, we hope this video is well received, Damia is juggling many tasks but our commitment to bringing you weekly, informative - jewellery making videos is strong as ever.
If you like this kind of content and aren't already a part of this creative community then... Why not subscribe? / @jacothejeweller
If you'd like bite-sized tips & tricks, behind the scenes footage and spontaneous LIVEs - join us on Instagram! jacothejewe...
Do you have any questions about this set-up or suggestions for the next video? You know, we'd love to hear from you! Thank you for watching and, as usual, we'll see you NEXT WEEK with another video.
    Have a great evening!

You must be the tidiest jeweller I’ve seen, my bench is like a war zone ! You’ve inspired me to have a tidy up today and get a bit more organised. Great video

Ohh this is so fancy and amazing, I also love that you modified so much yourself I was luck to have my neighbour who’s a carpenter build my bench but my proudest part I did myself I build a little hanging rack for my pendant motor just the actual pen that you use to engrave etc so that theres never any stress on the shaft so it will last longer, I was proud of that 😂 thank for showing us this guys, much love 💗

I would love to see more on engraving tools (maybe you could say something about EnSet/GRS/Foredom PowerGraver gravers if you have any opinions on them). Also the benchmate system is interesting! Is it worth investing in the long run? (It seems so 😅).
Love your videos! ❤ Thank you so much for all the work to provide us newbies with useful info!

@@barrenfields we will talk more about the gravers for sure 👍🏻 and as for the benchmate system, definitely go for it. It changes everything for the better.

Windows are great and you can’t beat natural light - I would prefer it too but as long as I’ve got good light around I’m good to go.
