Cedar is a wonderful deterrent for bugs that like wool, (bugs like Silver Fish, that’s what we call them in australia). hence the cedar chests our grandmothers had. I am not sure how you would use the chips though unless you turn them into sachets you put them amongst the skeins of yarn. You may want to ask Michelle if she knows about cedar as a deterrent for moths that chomp on yarn. I don’t have cedar or your chipper so I use cedar oil on sachets of other herbs like lavender which are also a deterrent. Some useful/useless information for no reason at all except I love watching you and how you are transforming your property.
For some reason your comment was instantly deleted from my video. I came over looking for that chipper box you were talking about. I'll keep looking around unless you point me in the right direction first.

Great video. Thank you for taking the time to post and provide feedback. I have been researching and debating for a while. Do you have any additional feedback or updates now that you have had and used the chipper for a few years? (I have the same model Kioti) Thanks
😎Hi rileymtn! Thanks so much for checking out the video and commenting! I had tons of cedar trees limbed and I had a lot of brush to chip. After a couple years of chipping piles that were easy to access, I moved to a grapple and went to burning. I very much enjoyed chipping, I used a lot of chips and sold some. I eventually sold the chipper and managed to recover most of my investment. I find that true with most attachments, if you take care of them, you can get most of your money back. Take care!🪵🌲🚜🦌
#105 here let's go n grow our channels! Nice chipper there. Lots of nice uses with the chips as well. What part of the country are you from. We are in northern Michigan here.
