The Stanley FatMax FMHT83550-1 TradeLift from ITS is an incredibly impressive tool for lifting up anything from doors, worksurfaces, washing machines and more to give you space to work.
Capable of lifting up to 150kg, the TradeLift can be easily operated by one person to securely and easily lift an item. The heavy duty performance of the Stanley TradeLift ensures that whatever is moved is done securely.
The push down lever allows easy operation by applying pressure to the handle for smooth lifting. This is further support by a large base plate that ensures that the TradeLift is stable and level.
The fine adjustment of the lifting plate can drop by 2.5mm per toggle when you need to get an item level, such as a window frame. And for enhanced safety, the full release button has been recessed to prevent any accidents.

It’s a slightly cheaper version of the original Viking Arm lifter. But then again, there are many much cheaper knock offs out there. I bought a decent knock off, has all the same specs, even sequential lowering which is a big plus. Fraction of the cost of this

best thing i found with the stanley vs the viking is you can stank up and use your foot to raise things up with is really handy with taller items otherwise its up look at the level then down to the floor to press the button then up to look at the lever balls to far rinse and repeat

I’m a bit confused about why they did not flip the grip. Users will be using this from above and ergonomically it would make so much more sense if the handle was facing upwards and the puller downwards 🤔🤷‍♂️

Hi there, It's designed so that you don't have to use your hands. If you needed to, you can place it on the floor and use your foot to raise the tool. - Dan

@@its I have a viking arm and not being able to use your foot when holding a door is a pisser . So I think this will turn out better , but have not had a go as yet

It's really disheartening to see Stanley disregarding copyright laws like this, stomping on the hard work of creators. Viking Arm has been around for a while, with patents to prove it. But Stanley just rolls out their own version without a second thought for intellectual property rights. Not cool.

@@utooboobnoob It's pretty crazy how large those conglomerates are.
Chinese TTI owns Milwaukee, they also make Rigid, Ryobi and Hart power tools. They also own Stiletto, Empire levels, and Imperial blades.
Stanley/Black and Decker owns DeWalt, Porter Cable, Craftsman, Stanley, Black and Decker, Irwin, Lenox, Mac tools, Proto, Facom, Sidchrome, USAG, Bostitch and more.
Hilti, Festool and Makita are the only independent mainstream companies left, and to some extent Bosch. Metabo/Hikoki was independent not too long ago but are now owned by an investment company. I spoke to a senior Metabo salesman and he said it was a big change when they went from being family owned to investment company owned.
It's also interesting that SnapOn owns Bahco, and a lot of the Bahco tools use the same molds as the SnapOn with the difference being that the Bahco is made in Taiwan or Spain.

I do not think that they have disregarded copy right laws as they have make some difference that I would consider improvements over the Arm (which I already own and use) and the principal mechanism has been around for years . If fact I have made a similar one from quick grip clamps years ago but without the soft lower function and a hard core one from a car jack.

cant use it with your foot which sucks when handing door or can only put your level ontop the thing your lifting although i do love how sturdy the vikings are built
