What a neat little set to add to a shelf layout. I'm sure you'll make it look interesting with Christmas Lego display. Thanks for sharing this with us. Cheers from Delmar ,Delaware
I just placed an ored for this trolley. Walmart had the best price this year. I really wish the car had working lights - either the headlights or inside lights. It'll still be a big hit with the grandkids. Thanks for the great video? Excellent info.
@JeffDM - You can also run the trolley on any standard HO scale train set track with a Bachmann DC controller that comes with any of Bachmanns various train sets. Also...the trolleys with the reversing circuit built in are the earlier versions of this trolley made by Dept.56 . They had a bump n go reverse circuit in the bumpers that acted like a switch.
Eztrack joiners are very tough, not like the old ones, the gray track has ones that are actually stuck to the rail. You have to take a flat bladed screwdriver and completely destroy the joiner, I had to do this with any isolated section on my layout to use a plastic joiner in
I don’t think the trolley has any reversing electronics just the track. So the trolley will be fine. If you wanted to combine the tracks then I think you could just leave the tracks with the reversing circuits in them off and use the other pieces.

Wish you would have done a comparison of the trolley alongside an HO locomotive
It’s nice that it runs on a USB cable. You could plug it into a wall outlet as well with that. Good deal.
Sehr schönes SET. Danke für's Zeigen.
Thanks for posting, pretty neat!
Thanks for posting this. I had no idea they made special track. I assumed they had some kind of reversing circuitry in the trolley.

Cool!

Ah, ok interesting. I didn’t try to take any off. I haven’t used eztrack in a long time. Hopefully they are a bit more durable than before then.
Nice video
So this doesn't use the bumper to switch direction on the nontrolley shed end?
I’m can’t remember offhand but I think it is just the end track sections that flip the power.
Nice
Hey Steve, any chance to remove the reversing electronics and use them with Peco's On30 track? Just curious, as I am thinking of a small On30 layout.
