Butane is gas at room temperature and above. It can't leak on your clothes because physics. And that is disregarding the fact that the canister valve closes as you unscrew it. Even if you tried to use it to light yourself on fire, you would not be able to. Go read anything about catalytic heaters and butane.

Thermacell only works like 20% of the time I use 3 at one time and it kinda works then.
