I'm trying to purchase my first gi, due to my height and weight I was recommended an A2 however the shoulders fit a bit stiff, I tried an A3 but I feel like I am swimming in it. What should I do?

Buy the A3 and after wash, dry it in high temperature to shrink a bit.

Some companies also make A2 (L) or (H)

What do you recommend for somebody who wants slim fit gi, but has big legs from doing lots of squats, I feel the slim fit is nice until I have to bend my knees for a triangle or to get hooks, and I am restricted

The issue i have and I see it already is theyre either too long or way to tight. I just got an A2 and will likely be returning it and have an A3 on the way.

I got a Gi from my gym for free, my coach gave me a A2L and the pants are huge, riding below my shin almost ontop of my foot and the Gi just feels HUGE. I feel like ever after a wash it’ll still be too big? I’m 5’5” 174-175 and I was doing some research and a size chart recommended a A1. I want to purchase one of my own, I just wanna make sure it’s the right size. Any tips? Much love! Great video!

A2L ofcourse too big for you. Go for any A1 even A2 shrink and it will be fine i guess.

I would try to combine two sizes. For example: A4 pants and A3 top

@@gbsainteanne I'm talking about the knot you're using in this video it's really nice. I don't like the superlock it looks too bulky

You must have the smallest torso of all time.

@@ItsOnPaper Why would a 5'7 man with a 32" waist have the smallest torso of all time? From a vertical perspective maybe relative to his legs, but look at fitness competitors or athletes that height and you see 42 - 50+ inch chests and pushing 200 pounds in some cases. If you mean he should wear an A3 I disagree as that fits me at 5'10 195 & 32 waist but I use A2 pants.
