Yeah same it was the last thing what channel are usually used to watch it out that channel seems at 12 AM and then I think opens back at 7 AM I can’t remember exactly
I'd cry too my mum thought it was because I didn't want to go to bed but it was really because I saw my favourite character leaving to the most emotional song I had ever heard as a child 😅😂
This gives me nostalgia. The feeling of being a child and not having a care in the world. This brings me back to those times. I love that feeling. This will forever make me think of my childhood 😊
I was a kindergarten kid when I use to watch this show. This gave me goosebumps after hearing this theme song after 12 years. Really for a moment, my mind went to 2009. This show was my best show at that time. And a huge memory is connected to it. Even I felt myself to be a part of that night garden back those days. And even today I remembered each and every feelings for this show. Really I went back to 2009

I remember back then when I was being raised by my grandma. My mom had to work all day, I only got to see her when we slept. And my memories of watching tv are of me sitting on the floor, waiting for my grandma to finish cleaning the house and for her to get bored. I’d wait so that we could go out. And something as little as that is now gone. But the memories stay with me. That’s why I’m here. Listening to this so I can remember and maybe, with a big imagination I can lay on the floor again. And I’ll wait for something to happen. Maybe till I get bored. Or maybe I’ll just wait for the smell and image of my childhood home to finally come up. Kids shows are really weird. But that’s how I was as kid. Weird. A weird innocent child trying to make every day a good day. I miss it. I miss it all.
I used to watch In the Night Garden every evening, but because I (even though I’m English) live in the Netherlands and there is of course a time difference, I was allowed to stay up and watch it with a biscuit and some tea or juice (depending on what day it was). Hearing this music and rewatching the episodes makes me thing of when I was 3. Thank you!

I remember sitting in my bed and waiting for this show to begin it really made my childhood, really thank you for making this you will never be forgotten🤍.
In the Night Garden was a huge part of my childhood, I used that show a lot when it aired on The Hub's preschool block Hub Bub, It was amazing, I was even obsessed the show, along with Friendship is Magic (Yes I'm a brony)
@@lifewithbrii1341 Do you know? It wasn't untill 2011! This could honestly air from Get Set Go (if you know what I'm on about). I wonder who had the bright idea of airing this before CBeebies Bedtime Stories?
I was already a bit too old for this show when it came out, but I had a period when I was quite feverishly ill for a couple of weeks when I was around 6/7ish years old, and I spent days on end watching this show and others. The most ridiculous part? I'm Dutch, have lived in the Netherlands all my life, and yet I somehow still decided to watch CBeebies/CBBC as a kid. This show kinda got stuck in my head as a sort of real-life fever dream, and it's somehow become incredibly nostalgic to me.
This has got to be the most nostalgic thing I've seen, I remembering In The Night Garden... being my favourite show of all time when I was little, and I love to listen to the music, it's dramatic, sad but also relaxing at the same time.
It gives me a dreamy feeling kinda like I'm lost and don't know where I'm going, I look around for something but eventually I just sit down on the muddy grassy floor and look at the trees, I look at the birds, I look at the ants on the floor, I look at how the vines climb the trees and how the mushrooms grow on the dead ones ... I like it here I don't want to leave anymore but i know now I have to... once you learn to value the things you have right now you won't have to get upset and miss them once they are gone because you treasured them while they were there
Would wake up early in the morning with my siblings to get ready for school, and say goodbye to our Dad while he went off to work, and waited for my Mom to come home from work. Dad did the morning-afternoon shift and Mom did night shift. This show would be our go to before we headed off to school. Old times 😪
Whenever I listen to that soundtrack, my eyes are full of hot tears :) I used to watch this cartoon when I was approximately five years old. While my dad was watching the news in the evenings, I used to die of watching this at the same time. Later, mom took the remote control away my dad so that he couldn’t change the channel. I used to sit next to sofa and watch it. Any more, this gives me goosebumps so much. Being upset with anything, I start to play this and I feel as though I was small Sevgi:). If only I was a small girl again.
I know, mate!!! A lot just has to change over the years, unfortunately! But we will always remember these lovely shows! Some of which, are still available on iplayer!
Hello, everybody. I just have to say, I have memories listening to this beautiful masterpiece of music. I am so glad to have been born in March 2009, and have watched Children's TV like this. Those born from 2013 onwards so missed out! This show just had SUCH a good theme song.
I remember this nostalgic theme, watching it when i was like 3 or 4 years old and going to sleep before school. Now, hearing it makes me feel like i wanna cry. I'm 19 years old, and i have a 2 year old brother watching it. And watching it with him makes me feel i wanna cry more. I wish the old childhood days were back and thank you, in the night garden, for inspiring my childhood. Thank you Mr.Andrew Davenport. And Thank you, @GeekMusic
I grew up with this show when I was little, I had a Upsy-Daisy and Iggle-Piggle toy when I was little. I remember watching the show in my pyjamas and with my blanket and getting ready for bed.
Read the whole comment to understand well. I think every thing that is happening in the show is just from the kid’s mind things r about to get sad he lived a sad life he had no friends his parents were never talking to him so the only way to make him feel better in by making his own world and have his own imaginary friends
Well there is a theory saying that all of what's happening in the show is actually iggle piggle's imagination, the first part where iggle piggle is sitting on a boat and drifting away? Then the show starts, after it ends in the outro he is covers himself and starts sleeping... So maybe what we see in the show is actually iggle piggle's imagination not the kid's? But what you said is interesting✨
I used to watch this show 24/7. Now I'm older I won't be able to watch it the same, as when I was a child I had no responsibilities. I cry every time I hear this now.
IT DOES!!! The night is black and the stars are bright And the sea is dark and deep But someone I know is safe and snug And they're drifting off to sleep Round and round A little boat no bigger than your hand Out on the ocean far away from land Take the little sail down Light the little light This is the way to the garden in the night.

I would remember sitting on the couch with my blanket not on me so then I would put it on me when he did it and turns off all the lights but grabs a very dim light and turn it on
I'd watch this show sitting on the brown leaver couch that you'd sink into with my mum next to me I'd wait for the other programme to finish and every single time this show started it felt like a present it was one of the only moments of calm I had when the show finnished and I saw iggle piggle (lol i still remember his name most of them too i think it was upsydaisy the red and blue housed wooden dolls with a bunch of children i cant remembertheir names exatcly but they were quite long then theres maca paca and the three spotty ice cream coloured things the vanilla one chocolate one and strawberry one who lived in the round hedge full of holes then they all went in the ninky nonk anyway side rant over) and when I saw iggle piggle leave on his little boat I got really upset because I felt like my friend was leaving (i didnt really have many friends when i was younger just 2 and people i tried convincing myself were friends but it didnt really work very well) so I got a little teary eyed as the music slowed and started to finish as iggle piggle went and disappeared behind the last wave ... anyway I'm going to listen to this song and try to sleep

hello there iggle piggle his theme song in the night garden
That's right.
Sounds interesting, mate. 👍👍👍
Cherry 1880 should play this on an outdoor warning siren.
