→Bull Riding is an ancient North American sport that was introduced into our modern life by Mexican and American cowboys.
The cowboy must stay on the back of the bull for 8 seconds. It must be held with one hand and feet. If the rider survives these 8 second times periods, he wins.
To hold onto the animal's back, the cowboy uses a braided rope. It ties behind the front pair of legs of the animal. The rider winds the end of this rope around his gloved hand, then holding on to it tries not to fall.
At the end of the standings, the judges give points to the rider. Grades are given to both the cowboy and the bull. The scoring system goes from 1 to 25 points. Bulls also have their own rating scale. The angrier and more aggressive the bull, the more points the cowboy gets for holding on it.
The bulls cowboys will ride are decided randomly. They sit on the bulls while still in the paddock and then the box opens and the most enchanting segment of this show begins - bull riding! In the arena, in addition to the cowboy and the bull, there are also clowns and bullfighters. Their task is to turn the attention of the bull from the cowboy to himself when the cowboy fell to the ground. There are barrels where the clown hides in the arena. In this way, the clown also receives his share of attention from the audience. This is American Bull Riding! This is the American Rodeo 2023!

The American Rodeo is an annual event that has taken place during the first weekend in March since 2014 in Arlington, Texas.

I don't really watch bull riding but the difference from these bulls and the ones you see in home videos on someone's ranch is crazy! These bulls are ten times meaner, and angrier!
They were really something to witness in person!

I like how the bull at 13:15 was chasing after the guy very fast but not so much to make him hurt but just give a little hit of a love tap and then it was on it's way to chase someone else. That's really funny to me

This has been a long tradition here for a long time so i wonder who was the first person to really decide to ride a bull as well as start a rodeo those times must have been very crazy to experience at the time

nice job on the video it really is the perfect representing of bull riding is and I have only ever went to one rodeo in my life and that was only because one of my friends liked it already and made me come along to see, needless to say it was a bit of a culture shock to me

wow bull riding really is only really available to be experienced in America and the wild west and that is really it, for it to be a sport is pretty radical but what do I know about what is a good sport or not, nice vid

Nice intro sequence that looked pretty ice and smooth. I really like the whole cowboy aesthetic from when I was a kid because kids like that kind of thing but now that I grew I don't think I have the courage to ride bulls so no cowboy for me

So impressive to see anyone that is even able to just walk up to one of these living, breathing giants like bulls not to mention ride on one. You know bulls often weight upwards of like 1500 pounds! That's ridicoulous!
Bulls are massive and seeing one with your own eyes is an experience

It's funny to see how some of the bulls after they are done jumping all over the place they just casually walk back and through the gate, its almost like it is just rehearsed and they are actors. ha
Sometimes it felt that way and they definitely done this a lot so they must be already accustomed

It truly boggles my mind for anyone to want to get on the bull like this for a ride it something that is just too dangerous, I think. However there are people that are just capable and can do things like the cowboy in the video that landed on his feet off the bull

I really like the music! The first song is like a fun party where everyone is square dancing and then the next song is a nice somber reflection on yourself and life while you are out in nature and that's probably my favorite. Exciting video and fun music

man one of the riders really got thrown off at the speed of light off of that bull that was magical to see. He haas to apply for his frequent flyers card now! one of the bull fighters probably couldve caught him too

Ive only ever heard of bull riding and cowboys before but I never thought that they were actually real but seeing them here is really cool and I am glad i got to see this it really opened my eyes to how the world is different everywhere!

This is what the wild west is like. It is gritty, tough and not for the faint of heart but man is it amazing to see who can withstand it. I am impressed by all these fearless riders they really put themselves out there
the clown is there to divert the attention of the bull away from the bull riders when they are fallen down because that is when they are most vulnerable. i cant imagine myself ever willingly choosing the job of a rodeo clown

I was raised on a small ranch in southwestern Oklahoma, our house set , 1 mile west of the Chisholm Trail and it ran across a portion of our land, and 1 mile east of the 98th Meridian, where the WEST begins. No other group of people have intrigued the world more than Cowboys, from their auspicious beginning as obscure organized criminals, to Saturday matinee hero’s, it’s cowboys that little boys and girls wanted to be, a dressed the part. God has blessed America, hasn’t he?
