The Seaside Boulevard is the most popular walking route in Gdynia. 1.5 km long, it is a favorite place for walks and biking tours. It is the hallmark of Gdynia, next to Kościuszko Square and the sailing ship 'Dar Pomorze'.
The history of the Bulwar Nadmorski im. Nowowiejski dates back to the interwar period.
In the 1920s, for the convenience of walkers, a sandy path was built along the waterfront on a small embankment, and in the 1930s
and public works gave rise to the promenade as it is today.
