Here is my comprehensive mod tutorial for the nerf speedload 6 dart tag 2011 blaster. This blaster is so much fun. I remove the air restrictor, improve the air seal, regrease the barrel and seal the air release holes.
Overall the mods make this blaster ludicrously effective.

The little door that Drac takes out at 3:50 is the main reason why getting this gun back together is a pain. However luckily for all you modders out there, it does NOT need to go back in when you reassemble the gun. I was having difficulty after modding my gun with the reassembly, but once I removed that, snapped the two body pieces together and checked if it cocked and fired, it does. It'll load darts normally and fire normally as well.
Thumbs up so people can have an easier time assembling.

Amazing video! I recently purchased a Nerf Speedload 6, and I used your video as a guide to take apart the gun and remove the AR, mod the spring, and re-grease a couple of parts, as well as sealing the release hole.
For people looking to do the same, having gone through the tedious process myself, If you use just a long screwdriver to remove the AR, you basically jam around ALOT inside the plunger to remove all the excess plastic and it feels really wrong xD

It seems a lot of people have had problems with this gun jamming when using Whistler darts. I've found that giving the tips a light coating of baby powder helps to avoid any of the problems associated with jamming with this blaster

I'll give you the design was cool, and as far as I can tell never been done. So I'll give credit, the design concept of the Spartanshot is Drac's, but the internal mods have all been done before.
their are 2 airholes in the plunger system one where you shoed us and another in the front its very tiny and hard to see,so when you glue it then blow through it you will hear air comeing out. it gives alot of power if you seal it up.It went up to 49 almost 50ft when we shot it.Make shure you catch that for extra distance!

hey drac, you should see if the speed load 6 mag can be swapped out for the quick 16s, a speed load 6 with the 16 rd mag would be a great compact smg type blaster
If u watch some of his other vids u can notice his hands fixing his hair so that means he has long hair in this vid he bends down so that u can see that he has long hair (YES!!! I knew it )

There are 2 air release holes on the plunger tube. You can see it at about 4:48. It's small but it's still there

lol the 2nd dart u fired didnt shot but pretty great mod
if u thrust the gun forward i get about 8 feet increase of range.. just saying..no modding needed :)

What LordDraconical fails to tell us is that the blaster is a total **** to try and get back together. Taking apart is ok, moding is ok but trying to get the @#$%*&@$ thing back together while keeping all the parts aligned is like giving 100 preschoolers redbull and then trying to get them to sit still.
especially if 8rd stripper clips could be made for the darts..
you sound like a good moder but i have no idea what you're doing. you should add in some sort of demonstration for beginners

I know doing this mod enables streamlines to be used.
But are you able to take your finger and pushed a streamline further down the barrel once your speedload is primed? Just like how you can push a dart further down a recon after it's been primed to get better ranges?
I modded my speedload once I got it but can not do that.
I wonder if I didn't drill it right or if you really can't push darts in further because of how the plunger tube narrows in the middle.

Devils Advocate here... regarding the second part, what blasters has he "practically created" and truth be told I had inquired into a commission, and it was way over priced. So they are from friends and a lot of fanboys.
For cactusman 4000 the gun gets stuck push it back more and front over and over same happened to me
who just skips to the end to see how the gun turned out. :)

hey drac if your colour blind what colours can you see and can't see because if your colour blind how can you tell what fanger red looks like?
Will this blaster work with 2" stefans? I made a lot of them to play with my younger brothers and friends around the neighborhood. I like this blaster but I don't want to buy a lot of new darts because I lose them all the time.
Is it possible to leave the top dart door off? (the one that covers the clip when priming)
I feel like it would solve some of the jam problems. Or does it have some other function as well?

My speedload 6 blocks continually. Yellow load piece don't returns when load.I can't find support for fix it. I think NERF sells products that break easily

When I was trying to drill out the AR I lost grip of it and it cracked the plunger tube assembly on one side. What would you recommend to fix it?
This mod did not work at all for me. I did all what you did, but instead of better ranges, my ranges were halved.
Hey recently tried this, and can't get the darts to shoot out now, any tips or any way you could post a video on how to put it together piece my piece?
First it was jammed now it's not and now just can't get them to shoot out.

sooo Ive done all the mods put everything back together correctly but when i reassemble the blaster completley there is something stopping me from cocking it at all. i cannot figure out what it is!!! help!!!
I can't get the washer screw out, it is extremely tight and even with a drill it just wears the screw out :(
Now it is totally worn out it is literally a big carved dent in the screw...
Probably not fixable... :(

I just got this gun, but it just won't work. When i pulled the slide backwards, it wouldn't come forward. I thought that i could open the gun but when all the screws where removed i couldn't open it. Does anyone knows what i can do?
