I’ve got a Dji osmo action 4 and with the nd filters it shoots so good day and night I can seem to figure out the popping noise with my Sennheiser lav mic with a dead cat and -12 gain it will occasionally pop still that’s my only complaint
Yep thats a good idea. I did try position the mic in a few spots outside of the cheek pad and none of them worked. It was only until I had it positioned directly underneath that it cut the wind noise right back.

I haven’t experienced anything just yet but time will tell. The other thing that seems to clean the audio up is using the chin guard on my helmet.
@ I’ve got one I think I’m gonna tuck it completely under my cheek pad and see then

The audio on the clip examples are mono? left ear only. Is this normal?
