Sharp looking Van !! 👍👍
Thanks 😊
I had a 1979 Chevy Beauville from 1984 to 2003, however her last 5 years she sat in the backyard rusting away and ended up selling her! Sad, but during the good years she was amazing having the same color shag carpet with a large vertical window behind driver's seat, charcoal gray exterior with the same Craiger SS rims. The dash was red including the doghouse and even had a small love seat up against the rear bed that actually fit well. Same engine 350x350 with over 130k miles and Thrush dual exhaust out on the side in front of rear tires. You made me wish I had restored her, but now I'm rolling in a 1963 Chevy Impala SS...GREAT JOB restoring this classic van as I will always have a special place in my heart for Van Life!! My friends dubbed her the "F&ck Truck" LMAO!! Dave
Love that “f truck” 😅 best of luck with your 63
Matt clear, seal the roof. What a killer van, well done sir!
Beautiful Rig.
I appreciate the compliment Thank you.

Great van
That Tom....Mr "Hollywood"...did a great job with the narrative of his beautiful van!! Great job as usual "Lightning"!!
You’re making me blush, Tom 😊
Nice van and sounds great too.
Thanks 😊
It's so nice,I think it deserves matching paint on top, and hood... Pex
I would spray bedliner on it White will keep it cooler, but you could match the color whatever you want. Beautiful van, giving me lots of ideas.
Get at it homie!!! What kind of van do you have?
Got that thing Cadillac clean, sweet van!!!
I appreciate the love thank you
Beautiful Van!!
Thank you!!
Nice van. See you next time at Shand's
My favorite van out there, more than my own van
And your van is SICK!!! that’s a huge compliment sir, hope to see you at Freeze For All
Really nice van,Coodos to Chris Carter for a cool cabinet, and all the ones who put there hard work into your Awesome Van.
Initially thought clear the roof - but now I vote match it to one of the side shades of blue... or maybe both blues on the roof somehow. Doubling up those side ports was a wise move. Great job on the van!
79 Chevy van..A many memories for me when I was a young mechanic..
Use to work on the 6cyl 3spd manual transmission rebuit a bunch of Shift tubes ,Sliding door hinge assemblies
Clutch Jobs, side cargo inner door .levers , widow regulators intake manifold gaskets..
Great classic van. Nice to see that you've kept the running boards and bumperettes.
On the roof, I'd say go on and paint it, as well as touching up some other spots. I'd also be inclined to paint the flares and visors, while you're at it. Naturally, considering the unique nature of that original paint, it's good to preserve what's there.
Fire extinguisher is a good idea. But, get a bigger one. In my personal experience with vehicle fires, an extinguisher that size, even two of them, wouldn't have helped.
Nice job on the interior; the classic bar clone is great. Using shag area rugs was something that I had been considering in my van, so I'm delighted to see an example of how that could turn out.
Awesome dude !
Deathly old school I like them all lights back here AC stuff like that since my uncle had Vans like that turn back in the 70s he did a lot of Van slams
Great van!
Thank you
Killer bro!! Thanks for letting me play akong 🎉
Anytime, Heidi😊
My dream ride 😍
I think you should paint it just my opinion. Brutal van, by the way keep her on the road.
That's a cool 'old school' van. I think I'd clear coat the roof.
It’s going to be a tough decision, but I’ll figure it out eventually 😊
Tom, clear the roof with matte 2k clear rattle cans!!!!!!!!!!!!
i like it
I always love the old school cragar SS. I payed a lot more than $400 for mine, that was a great deal. As for that roof, I sanded the rust off and put white elastomeric coating on mine because of the heat.
Good idea I’ve seen that in use before. Heat really isn’t an issue for me as it’s always covered and it doesn’t really get that hot in North Carolina for too long.

It's a nice old ride I would clear the roof and be done with it I'm just finishing up a 94 Chevy van complete paint what a pain in the ass that is painting the roof is the hardest I would just roll some clear on it and call it a day
Jj who do I talk to about a venue to host a truckin near Gettysburg pa
❤
❤
Roll on bedliner I used the gallon on mine
A gallon just for the roof?
RINO GAURD THE ROOF ITLL LOOK VINAL
Clear over it. It give your van character.
Iloveyourfann
Roof patina, lol. Yea mine has more patina than yours lol. Thats why I 'm painting it lol
Clear the roof, that patina is too good to cover. I'd probably do matte, but gloss would be great, too.
Being that the paint isn’t super glossy, I think matte would be best
Solar panels on top
For sale?
I suppose for the right amount of money, everything’s for sale isn’t it?
paint it with a lot of metal flake
Paint it .
No one ever shows engine.
Paint it
