*Myra, shhh....you told me a secret in a previous reply to one of my comments that today's video I could expect to see a paint inlay. 😁 Well, you exceeded my expectations❣️🙉😎💜🌿🌺💟💕 XOXO* *I have never seen paint inlays cut into strips before; neither have I seen paint inlays spritzed with water 💧 ON THE PAINT SIDE before laying them down, nor had I seen inlays pressed down with a dry brush before - I had only seen them pressed down with fingers and/or a brayer. THANK YOU FOR SHARING THESE TECHNIQUES❣️ HUGS TO YOU‼️🫂 I L💟VE PAINT INLAYS - ESPECIALLY the Rose Chintz❣️💕💜🌹🍃🌹🍃* *I agree that the "Pepto Bismol Pink" box with all of those delicious details needed a dark wax after clear waxing. Personal preference being what it is, though, I would have used a brown wax instead - only because my LEAST FAVORITE COLOR ON THE PLANET IS Grey/Gray. 🤮 Sorry; I just hate it because it reminds me of death. 😔* *I really liked your idea of using WHITE FOAM BOARD in picture frames - ESPECIALLY if you plan to decoupage a design to be framed - because you SAVE A STEP and DON'T HAVE TO PAINT - AND because with vintage frames, the foam board is most likely sturdier than the old cardboard or chipboard"s condition is after years of use❣️😁💕 LOTS OF FOOD FOR THOUGHT in this video, Myra, including the reminder to use hot glue and resin in IOD MOULDS IN ADDITION TO IOD PAPER CLAY (my Brand preferences). I am so DELIGHTED with this video, Sweet friend❣️😊🍃💝🌿🌺🌹💜🍃💕*
On the paint inlay with the dry brush was me flying by the seat of my pants😂. I cracked about your gray comment, it does look like ashes doesn’t it😊. Thanks sweet friend always for your great comment. See you Saturday morning. Shhh, using gray again but you’ll like the projects. Have a great Friday. 💕💕💕
Love the pink box with the grunge..yes maybe a little of white wax on the raised edges..but oh my those ballerina boxes were so precious ❤the molds are such a game changer!..everything u make is beautiful they are all my favorite..u don’t use all these fancy equipment it’s all done by hand you got the it factor hands down!..I’m a crafter I watch countless of videos you truly have a gift😊
All of these projects are absolutely beautiful. The round box with the grunge you added to it, I can't believe how much of a difference that made in the end. I love it and agree that the original color wasn't the right choice. How darling is the ballerina molds on the square box. I haven't tried paint inlays yet but am planning on trying them. I have enough tips now to feel confident in using them. Just so you know that if I were to have seen that box at a thrift store I would have spent the $12 on it too. If it's something you really want the price usually is no object. Thank you for sharing your lovely projects.
O Myra those are so pretty! I've never used grunge grey wax it really changes things up so beautifully. I've also not used the paint inlays, soon I will hopefully. Ballet teacher will love the box, so cute. Thank you for the creative ideas and tips. Can't wait for the video on Saturday! Have a blessed day sweetie! 🙏🧚🌻
Oh how sweet the ballerina box is, she will love it. I like the gray grunge wax on the pink. I think the first is my favorite. The dark blue with gold is very glamorous but I’m more of silver person. Hugs 😊❤
That gold rub on transfer is Kacha's newest collaboration with Prima redesign! Katcha has a channel here on RUclips. I LOVE gold! I'm trying to learn how to use gold leaf in my projects. Very messy lol. I loved the gold rub on transfer over that dark blue you did. Simply beautiful Myra
Hey friend, I actually have a navy blue nightstand that I used one of Kacha’s gold transfers on. It’s gorgeous. I’m getting a video ready in a bit with all blue. You’ll have to watching for it. Yes, I love gold rub. Have a fabulous day💕
I would of payed the price too for that box and even though I don't craft in a rustic style I still like this and many rustic things in store and crafted and the pumpkin is pretty with the greens
Such lovely projects. I hope to watch your video on it using hot glue for molds. Also, glad to know you can use cake fondant molds for crafts..game changer!
Absolutely. The cake fondant molds are smaller most of the time but have some fabulous designs. Shh, I’m using some on my video for Thursday 8/10. Have a great day💕
Myra, the pink box is my favorite. However , I will bet that will be a delighted teacher when she receives that little ballet decorated box! It is just so sweet and how thoughtful of you to make it for her. Thanks for sharing this video. Enjoyed !
Hello... sorry I didn't find your name, I'm watching you for the first time, holy 🐄...your projects are so beautiful! I really appreciate your attention to detail, not some that can produce a project for $5 in 5 minutes... I'm exaggerating of course, but you know what I mean, I'm interested in learning new things, you do such a nice job🎉🎉🎉
I want to share a tip some may not know about. You will not have any bubbles or wrinkles with Mod Podge (MP) if you iron the tissue paper, paper, napkins, fabric, etc. to the Mod Podged project. 1. Spread the MP on your project and let it dry completely. 2. Once dry, lay the paper over the MP 3. Place parchment paper over the paper, and iron with high heat no steam. Household iron or tools like the Cricut heat press can be use. The ironed paper will be smooth, no bubbles or wrinkles, and very well adhered. Sand the edges to add that finishing touch Hope this helps someone. Blessings to you.
Thanks friend. I have seen other use that method but was kinda scared to try it. I’m guessing it’s better on flat surfaces?? I’ve got a Cricut heat press that I could use. I’ll try that next. Thanks so very much. Have a great Thursday 💕💕💕
Brilliant, I'm looking forward to the moulds filled with hot glue. Thank you. I'm itching to have a go but I want to see your demo and really pay attention to any tips or tricks before I do.
Once again, you knocked it out of the ballpark! I love all of the moulds that you used. What a perfect gift for your granddaughter to give to her ballet teacher. After watching you, I am wanting to try using resin in my moulds.
Hello Myra... beautiful revamps tonight. You never disappoint and always look forward to next video. Thanks for sharing your time, talent and advice with us. Take care and God bless 😊
I enjoy your videos so much, I'm glad I found your channel! If you have a few minutes to provide video edit techniques to a newbie, I'd sure love a message! Mainly just what program you use to add the voiceovers. I think I'd rather shoot the crafting video and then add my voice like you do to be able to speed through sections.
Thanks so much friend. I love using them now. It’s certainly a learning curve but I’m still amazed each time I pull the paper back and see how great it turned out. Have a great Friday 💕💕
They all are beautiful. I know the ballet teacher will love her pencil box. Thank you
Thanks so much. Yes, she did love the pencil box💕💕💕
Love the Gruge Grey box!! And the little one too.. ohh shoot.. I ❤ em All!! Thanks dear, Kathylyn ❤
