This man handles his shear work really intricate and with detail, as far as the blending and fading process goes there's still a lot of weight lines and heavy spots he did not blend, but it doesn't matter with this cut since it is a vintage cut! The Pomp and shear work throw off the fade and make the fade look all around good. This some of the best vintage barbering I've seen. There's going to be a lot of people showing negativity because they don't understand the concept of vintage barbering. - tonsorial artist for 6 years+
Intresting i didnt think of this work as you have broken ot down and you have a solid point and my rocognition boit barbering and style have to respect what you say...but dont you think a roghteous blending precedure is owed to the client and to thw barber himself?
This was one of the first videos I remember getting anything out of in barber school. 4 years later I’m watching it for the 100th time and still gasping more information from it. Thank you Reuzel and Rob for helping barbering make sense
This man is a legend. The way he talks and cuts hair. I need a hair cut from you. My hair is just like that at the moment but I've always a hair cut like this one.
It isn't the barber talking! I went to this barber whilst living in Rotterdam, and although a great cut. I waited 10 hours for a haircut, no appointments possible!
It's really lovely to see barbers/hairstylists really loving what they do and taking pride in it. Great cut, I'm hoping to pick up your video to learn some techniques.
My teacher back in the day made me watch this over and over and kept getting me to try recreate it , still trying to get it perfect but it certainly serves as a great base for a superb cut whether you have the skills to style it as slick as this or not . Looks great wet , dry , with or without product
I love you guys so much. i am 15 from the us. I grease my hair back with reuzel and am the barber at my highschool, my first haircut on someone else i went off your style pomp. They loved it! THank you guys for everything you do, i wish to learn with you gentlemen when i am of age. I am learning Dutch just to come and find your shop. god speed
i knew as soon as i saw his perfectly groomed mustache that this would be a good cut. he exceeded my expectations. that hair is virtually fucking perfect
I like the fact that the barber himself has his own unique 'old school' look with a 'modern touch' (meaning his body art). A really enjoyable video to watch!
I bought your dvd s. all haircut are verry nice and them help me verry much and my inspiration too. thank you. I told about you to all my friends from my work, and now ....we all love you Schorem!! (sorry for my english) ROMANIA!
Thanks for the post. Tried some of your techniques with some stuff I knew already and cut my sons hair and I have to say, I knocked it out of the park.
Hello ,i'm Dave the barber from Canada and i've been cutting hair for 27 years and i have to say you have the best technique and classic barber shop i've ever seen !!! Keep up the "Great " job guys !!! I'll come and visit some day .Maybe i'll give you a haircut !!!
Man I'm so jealous, I tried to get this cut the other day at a barber shop ended up with a high and tight with some length in the front was so mad.... Why can't I get a good barber?!
I wish more barbers here in the US would offer this level of quality. Sure there's plenty of places to get a tapered fade, but most of the time (and I don't intend this to be racist at all), it's a black/latino place that really only does fades and nothing to special up top. Even the few so called "gentlemen's" places I've been to don't offer anything close to this..which is a shame. I'm also curious how hard it is getting an appointment with Bertus. I remember seeing a video where people line up outside before the shop even opens, so I would assume it's pretty busy.
check out Daniel Alfonso if your ever in Hollywood CA. Im hispanic and I know EXACTLY what you mean about the barbers not knowing what to do with top. Ive been going to Daniel after finding him on youtube and have been going to him ever since. Very good quality work. check out his videos on RUclips. Hope this helps.
I feel the same. Hispanic and black style barbers don't really cater for long tops. Then white style barbers don't do the good razor fades. I also don't mean to sound racist. It's like i gotta get my haircut by two different people.
white barber weighin in here, its not racist its true for some reason, black or tight curly or hispanic or thick straight hair usually gets numbers on top and in most of these shops no one does scissor work so no one learns how, white boys or usually thin straight hair worn longer on top usually gets cut with scissor but fading thin hair is tricky bcuz a 3 1/2 looks like a 1, gotta find a barber with a diverse range if clientele, I work in a college town in California so i see it all, white, black, asian and hispanic and I can giv them all good cuts purely bcuz of practice on all hair types... BarberzUp
Come on guys, give the man a break. This was a great demo using his OWN technique. The end result was superb. Respect and let's see some of your work if you feel you can improve on this vid .
0:27 ..... It's quite funny that nobody at all ever noticed or commented on... this one thing throughout the tutorial video. Barber's water spray bottle is actually *"JACK DANIEL'S TENNESSEE WHISKEY!*" **TRUTH!**
Briana Roberson You liked the hairstyle better, it was the same haircut. Your inner cave woman is strong. You like the natural looking long hair that is wild. Not totally wild, but a more perfect carefully created wildness. haha
The artistic and technical skill that you possess is phenomenal! I just FINALLY received my license in January and I cannot wait to develop my skill to this level! I followed you guys all through school and you are great. Keep doing what you're doing.
+Crystal Kelley Oh sorry 😊 by the way you were talking I thought you might have gone to barber school. And yeah I'm really interested in it as well. Watching people with phenomenal skill like this makes me want to go, but I've barely even touched a set of clippers 😔
love the fade... I see a lot of people thinking its not the perfect blend but its a pretty subjective to the individual... I love it! now if I could blend that good, I'll be happy!
Love the haircut! Awesome job'! I watch a lot of your videos so I can become a better barber! It is an art. Also the young man getting the fabulous haircut looks like a picture perfect painting. He is absolutely beautiful!
I can't believe some people didn't like this. Maybe they didn't like the style, but the technique was spot on. I guess you can't please everyone. Nice video.
no smart ass of course im just saying most men are receding or partially bald the hairline you need for this cut must be perfect no recession at the temples
Most ppl here are totally ignorant to babering or the blend game ....ofcourse no one can rob this man of the fact that they have a unique style and regardless what i say they are selling theyre product wich is these types of cut....but if u got notion of the true blending proscess and are a lover of the righteous blending procedure this is one of the poorest fades ive seen to be appretiated at a level that it doesnt deserve...this man cut half the process wit clipper over comb and did not bother in taking out all the hardlines and darks spots in the fade part of this cutt....the blending proscess he used is totally distorted and if u look at the guy from the front angle its crooked...they sell a nice hairdo and style but technically speaking its a fucked up fade
Agreed too. I also think a lot of the processes are convoluted. Maybe to justify a high price I don't know. But the same cut can be achieved with far less processes than this
Totally agree! Style over substance. Would be ashamed of he left my chair with a fade like that. It's completely uneven and has dark patches. I'm not claiming to be the greatest barber, I just think at their level they should be producing far better cuts

It's a very SERIOUS look. How much money would you spend
a week desperately maintaining this pomp?
One of the best of the old school
Only ppl that know a bit about that can understand it 👍🏼✂️💈🔥
0:27 ..... It's quite funny that nobody at all ever noticed or commented on... this one thing throughout the tutorial video.
Barber's water spray bottle is actually *"JACK DANIEL'S TENNESSEE WHISKEY!*"
**TRUTH!**
I love the jack Daniels spray bottle!
I was expecting Django and DR Shultz to walk in.
Daryl Solis Yeah! That would be awesome. :)
this is the perfect haircut video my partner has been after for the cut he wants, thank you!
Is it weird that I liked the before haircut better? ?
You did a very fine job but I just think your model looked edgier that way.
***** where is ur barber shop

How was barber school? I've thought about going.
+Crystal McCarthy I went to cosmetology school, but I want to specialize in men's cutting. I love it.
+Crystal Kelley Oh sorry 😊 by the way you were talking I thought you might have gone to barber school. And yeah I'm really interested in it as well. Watching people with phenomenal skill like this makes me want to go, but I've barely even touched a set of clippers 😔
Fun fact: This haircut took 6 hours overall to complete..
7
Schorem Barbier 7 hours? Yeah ofc...
Geert Wilders
Sounds more realistic.
+Johnny Crespo no wonder he looked tired at the end.
He look stoned, not tired, its netherland remember
by far my favorite barber hands down!!!
(great technition and very detailed)
He is so attractive 😍
Great Tutorial on the Razor Fade Pompadour ! The Best ! Thank You
What Rezuel pomade is best use for this hair style?

Anyone know the models name ? Ugh he's to die for.
Shepherd Tiatia yeah his name is Darude Sandstorm
love the fade... I see a lot of people thinking its not the perfect blend but its a pretty subjective to the individual... I love it! now if I could blend that good, I'll be happy!
If only I had hair....
Some "barber" somewhere is always going to hate on your cut. Keep doing what you're doing, you clearly are a professional.
What's name of song
@Mr Parker thanks dude!
Love the haircut! Awesome job'! I watch a lot of your videos so I can become a better barber! It is an art. Also the young man getting the fabulous haircut looks like a picture perfect painting. He is absolutely beautiful!
7:19 had the hair looking dope right there. But then added a bunch of motor oil wtf
Michael you know that that isn’t the style he was going for?
this is not an ordinary video, it is a work of art.
Came to find a good haircut to attract girls.... left gay.
chitchatkat I make a joke on youtube saying the guy is attractive, so you say I smell. I'm assuming You're a Trump supporter with that kind of logic.
Jack Gillespie huh Im from new zealand you idiot
chitchatkat you must be fun at parties
+Jack Gillespie I am actually
are you actually capable of interpreting a joke you fucktard
I can't believe some people didn't like this. Maybe they didn't like the style, but the technique was spot on. I guess you can't please everyone. Nice video.
lmao most guys do not have a good head of hair like the model here this would look stupid if your hairline isnt perfect
wait, you're saying good hair looks better than bad hair? who would've thought.
no smart ass of course im just saying most men are receding or partially bald the hairline you need for this cut must be perfect no recession at the temples
Leah Karensa He means; You can't get a haircut like this if you're going bald. It's easy as that.
lol
there's only problem for me, only (FACE) im afraid that my face doesn't suit this hairstyle even it's nice and i love it so much
this is the best I’ve seen so far….love your work
Most ppl here are totally ignorant to babering or the blend game ....ofcourse no one can rob this man of the fact that they have a unique style and regardless what i say they are selling theyre product wich is these types of cut....but if u got notion of the true blending proscess and are a lover of the righteous blending procedure this is one of the poorest fades ive seen to be appretiated at a level that it doesnt deserve...this man cut half the process wit clipper over comb and did not bother in taking out all the hardlines and darks spots in the fade part of this cutt....the blending proscess he used is totally distorted and if u look at the guy from the front angle its crooked...they sell a nice hairdo and style but technically speaking its a fucked up fade
agreed!!
***** well said and agreed
Totally agree, only been a licensed Barber for a year and can do a better fade than that.
Amazing work. Thank you for the video and explanations, thanks for sharing. Enjoyed to learn from the best.
I'M GAY NOW
This man is a legend.. nothing less than the best
guy looks miserable lol
This guy is probably one of the best barbers
Schorem sucks over rated , no detil to fade, and there tools are week was he using a peanut?
+Marvin Upshaw Hahahaha... A peanut... You're adorable...
I'm being honest ,theres no definite outline I can see lines throughout temple, can u cut any other ethnicitie? or are u as one dimensional as the rest of the hairstylyst leaning on traditional barbering
your fade is adorable,
Your right Soulyards I should of said it in a nice way so you wouldn't be offended . They don't suck they just have yet to master a fade or outline, the traditional style of 80's blue collar or military fade allows a trending hairstylist to look like a master of fades these days but u would have to visit a black barbershop to know the difference . for instance look at your haircut Soulyards have you heard of a burst fade or temple or design work the game has changed.. pay attention
+Marvin Upshaw you sound uderly stupid I'm sure you are black and think that every customer wants a boxed four head and a taper. let me guess you love hip hop music? not everyone wants paint on their four heads. is this why black people come into the shop ask 40 questions then leaves all pissed off because nobody gives a shit about his hair? I never understand why you guys are so angry it's hair chill the fuck out.
Steve u sound ignorant and racist and u can't outline cuz u have no style " corny what u do any stylist can do true barbers know how to do the detail " Steve O BLADES " Ur name sounds Boring what can u possibly teach that any hairstylist or random barber doesn't know ur un evolved
Well done on the video. Brilliantly narrated as well, great voice over artist. Loved the edgy style of the video.
(unimaginable sarcasm) I bet the kid in the chair is super intelligent and has a really bright future (unimaginable sarcasm). How would making yourself look like that be a good idea in any way, shape, or form. I'm all for body art but when you do it to this extent, you're basically saying "fuck a job with good pay and benefits, I want to be broke from age 30 until I die. Retirement? Who cares, I have tattoos bro".
For all those who are going to bitch, I will be getting tattoos in the near future, but only in places that can be covered so I can actually have a career. All the people my age (20 years old) doing this type of thing are going to be absolutely fucked in the long run. I can't take you seriously for a job interview if you have no education and you spent hours upon hours in a chair getting tattooed instead of studying to make yourself a productive member of society who can actually make a difference in people's lives.
MrZapparin Thank God because he sure as hell can't do anything else lol.
