    I've been using smaller utility tractors on a hay farm for about 7 years now. I'm glad to hear you guys call out how important it is that flat or mostly ideal conditions are critical. Even though these modern small tractors can lift this kind of weight, they are very dangerous on any kind of a slope. They just lack the wheel base and the weight. Proceed with caution

    I was pretty sure the CK2610 would lift the 4X5 bales. I didn't think it would lift the 6X6 bales. That is a lot of weight 6' out in front of those pins. Impressive.

    Honestly. That is absolutely impressive that either of the smaller tractors lifted them. That said I dont know about doing that on a regular basis. I'm no expert but you could hear them straining doing it.

    As an owner of a JD 2025R, I am amazed that the CK2510 handled those round bales. I can not lift a round bale in the 2025R I had to push it along with the bucket. Very impressed future Kioti owner.-

    I love my DK40SE(slightly heavier than the DK5010) and my buddy and I do some hay in 4x5 hardcores and it has no issue moving them around and loading them. Biggest issue is seeing over the bale at the front to dodge the odd hole in the field. The 6x6's in the video are softcore and probably not much heavier than the hardcore 4x5's, but they still stick out farther so its still a good sized lift.
    The only issue with the my tractor and the DK5010 is how high they can stack bales in the barn. 3 high is it for 4x5's, where a bigger tractor does 4 high. They can still load 2 high on an equipment trailer or smaller haywagon that we use to load in the field.

    Thanks for the demo ... been scouring thru RUclips looking for such. Have a MF35 with bucket and a Lg back counter wt. It barely handles 3x3x8 grass hay bales to the height of 4 stacks. Been think'in need to get something with a bit more POWER, a cab, and make sure it can stack the bales. Been trying to decide which would do the things around the 80 ranch here in Wyoming that would do more than the MF35 and JD630 combined. Now think'in the NX5010 or NX5510 Hydro types might the right size. But also leaning to the DK6010SE Hydro. Just need to get with a local dealer and give them the bucket list of duties I want accomplished and see what they recommend. Again .... thanks for the demo.

    Thank you for putting this video together. I have a CK2610 TLB. I noticed the backhoe will engage the pressure relief valve when working it but the fel doesn't engage a pressure relief valve when it encounters weight it can't handle. It just stops. Is that normal or is the fel not being provided full hydraulic power? Thanks!

    • @LSE_TRACTOR
      @LSE_TRACTOR  5 лет назад +1

      🤔 Troy M, at first blush, I would ask if you are certain that the control levers for the rear hydraulic remotes are in the neutral position. If activated, even without being used, the hydraulic ability of the loader will suffer.

    • @alittlebitofeverything5090
      @alittlebitofeverything5090 5 лет назад +1

      @@LSE_TRACTOR I had no idea about that. Thank you. Which position should the selector lever be in when using the front loader? It has three positions.

      @alittlebitofeverything5090 5 лет назад +1

      @@LSE_TRACTOR Thank you I appreciate the quick response. That makes sense to me now because the pump wouldn't be delivering power to the rear remote for the hoe at the same time so with it in the middle it will divert full power to the FEL.

    • @alittlebitofeverything5090
      @alittlebitofeverything5090 5 лет назад +3

      @@LSE_TRACTOR It took me almost 3 years to buy a tractor. I looked at every comparable model to the CK2610 and even test drove the Mahindra, which the dealer I went to also sold. A big point that I don't see many people mention is the integrated loader control valve next to the right fender. All of the tractors had a lever up near the top of the FEL which is awkward and almost none of the competitors had a loader that could lift the bucket and curl simultaneously or lower and dump. Others didn't have a differential lock which I learned first hand from my tractor that it is an absolute neccessary. There's more reasons coupled with the sheer weight of the tractor that I chose Kioti.

    Moving large round bales with a small chassis tractor is just plain unsafe and borderline reckless.
