You can blame the government on oppourtunites and policies. But cant blame them solely for inability of people to get or create jobs despite oppourtunities.
But current govt has worked on those. It alwasy favoured make in India, manufacturing. It also gave many incentives, ran skill India campaigns. India also has highest rise in startup unicorns in this decade.

Let me start with my case, I completed my education from BHU, having a degree in mathematics and computing additionally I completed numerous coursera courses on machine learning and data science, taken 3 swayam courses, completed 6 months certification on data science and machine learning run by jointly MEITy and NASSCOM, completed two projects based on machine learning searched for jobs nearly a year but did not able to find a single interview call. Jobs offered were of either being a salesman or officeboy this is the real situation of the job market. Now guess what I am doing nothing preparing for government job.😢

Unemployment is a problem - agree. However, if people only look at jobs from the government, this problem will never go away. As big as our population is, there won't be enough jobs until either we become a manufacturing hub like china OR educated and undereducated youth start businesses. Government needs to start skill based education - electrician, plumbers, auto technicians, carpentry. It will take time but with the direction being set now, in 10 years the dividends would start showing. And give these folks access to micro loans.

If population is 1 crore and jobs are only 1 lakh wat to do in that case. People are not ready to work in other sectors also, for example, an engineering working as a delivery person. People are looking down on jobs in India, but same jobs like truck driving they ll do out of country
Previous generations who procreated mindlessly are to blame for this. They have blood on their hands. Due to this, the life of the average person in this country is simply not worth living.
Disadvantages of this extreme overpopulation:
1. Toxic and hypercompetitive education system that only focuses on marks.
2. Overcrowded classrooms, roads, hospitals, parks, public places, tourist places, etc.
3. Road accidents and road rages.
4. Unavailability of bus and train tickets, even during urgency.
5. No footpaths on most roads, severely restricting walking space.
6. No parking space due to which half of the road space is occupied by parked vehicles.
7. Rise of obesity in young Indians due to the unavailability or overcrowding of parks, open spaces or recreational centres.
8. Young Indians preferring to stay indoors because of the depressing crowd outdoors.
9. Auditorium-sized classrooms with 250-300 students preparing for competitive exams which have less that 0.5% selection rate.
10. Severe unemployment causing huge stress to students and young adults during their prime years and prompting them to take extreme steps.
11. Low, meagre salaries even when you are overworked because you are easily replaceable.
12. Rising obesity, diabetes and heart diseases because people only think about their careers.
It's madness all around.
