Seeing the mammoth walker get attacked by Nod banshees, how lore friendly, just like the tiberian sun cinematic😆
it be fun to see a mod for this game/engine that make the mammoth mk2 and nod cyrborg commando not just lore friendly.. but 'realism' sized and function friendly to... though i doubt the games map sizes have any setting for the scale that would demand ,considering that most weapons that can reach beyond a single screen size is either manual only or the 90's style of 'super weapons' aka manual 'spells' ...and there is no counter measure mechanics at all but its a fun thought hehe....

Nod has few counters against a Mammoth walker - arguably, the best one is a thunderstorm of Banshees.

The epic units in this mod are crazy; GDI got the Kodiak and the Mammoth Mk2, Nod got Montauk and Cyborg Commando, and Scrin got the Leviathan and the Conqueror... would have been amazing if someone adapt them for Kane's Wrath mod. For an example:
GDI - Kodiak, Steel Talon - Mammoth Mk2, ZoCom - MARV, Nod - Montauk, Marked of Kane - Cyborg Commando, Black Hand - Purifier Redeemer, Scrin - Eradicator Hexapod, Traveller-59 - Leviathan Mothership, Reaper-17 - the Conqueror....
If any devs/editor could do that, that will be swell!
yes, i'm quite disappointed that they had to make an epic unit for gdi and they didn't use the old Mk2 mammoth
If you look on moddb, there's some fan made campaigns that does this a little bit. There's a steel talons mission pack and a ZOCOM mission pack. Off the top of my head, ST gets the Mammoth Walker and Colossus walkers (better titans), and ZOCOM gets the Kodiak and Zone Commando. The campaign missions are super interesting, and it's fun how they try to fill in the gaps between Tib Sun and TW. There's even a CABAL campaign, but the faction and the campaign are not completely fleshed out.
Agree. Im also disappointed that they switched good looking and functioning models of let's say; stealth tank's from TW to this from TS which are an garbage.
@@rohenthar8449 The Stealth Tank in this game is supposed to resemble the classic one from Tiberian Dawn. The one in TibWars/KW resembles less of a tank and more of a missile launching lobster on wheels.
@@SoldierOfFate First, not on wheels but on tracks. TW Stealt Tank is on tracks. Second it looks more like a toad or a frog and not as much as an lobster. And finally third, TW Stealth Tank works perfectly with NOD doctrine of surgical strikes and hit and run tactics, while the previous ones, slow, vulnerable and with low firepower not as much....
Hearing the old C&C TS sounds and seeing my old favorite units nearly brought a tear to my eye. TS was the game of my childhood.

This mod is AMAZING! the wholesome concept mashup from all of the CnC games (even Generals! (the GDI AA turret has the sound of GLA quads)) brings warmth to my otherwise cold Nod heart!
honestly, I'd love to see more Generals/Zero Hour Representation in Tiberium/Kane's Wrath. Definitely the most underrated of the C&C franchise
@@wedoaliltrolling6686 I always thought Generals was a good game and a nice change to a more "real" setting. And giving everyone ways to earn addition money without needing the preset supply locations was a fun thing to add and made late game stuff a little more reasonable to look at. If it had a remaster in the same sense the original C&C games had, I'd absolutely buy that. Though, personally, I'd *love* a Red Alert 2 remaster. That game was my jam growing up

The design is OK, it's just overall animation looks stiff and old, walkers doesn't have the impact it should. Not sure whether it's intentional or not tho
@@wedoaliltrolling6686 The Forgotten faction uses some GLA units. Their Tier 1 equivalent of the Pitbull/Buggy/Seeker is the Technical.
This mod looks very good, love the mix of Tiberian Sun and C&C3.

I've always thought the Disruptors and Sonic Emitters were kind of broken in this mod, they chew through ground units and its easy to build a comp with some AA. AI would just spam that out in hard campaign. Also the rate at which Tiberium depletes. Still fun though

A couple things to clear up for the viewers:
The mistery crate can indeed explode. Sometimes you also get unit crates which can spawn vanilla TW units like the flametank you saw on one of the GDI teams
The mutant garage produces the Looted Pitbull, the Humvee, the sensor unit and the Mastodon tank.
The "planetary assault carriers" are in fact floaters. They are just not quite finished, as 1.6 is still a beta technically. This is why the name is not adjusted.
Nod harvesters do indeed have an advantage in the middle of the map. This is specifically the reason I put the sensor units in these spots overlooking the center Veinhole field. They will detect the nod harvesters (until they are destroyed of course)
Oh also Nod is a little Op in Essence. Especially the stealth.
Stealth towers now cloak themselves as well. Plus infantry no longer detect on close range. This makes Nod bases basically unassaultable, since you never know what is hiding in there.

So those vanilla flame tanks are from crates? Are devil's tongue tanks still in TE?
@@Mantorok12 yes. And you can upgrade them with drills as Nod.
@@Mantorok12 those are from crates yes the devils tongue are the main flame tank in the mod. The moder wasn't able to stop base units from spawning from them
Loved seeing this mod and the GenEvo series. I especially liked the part where the firehawks kept the the cyborg commando safe from the harpies. Cyborg commando was my favourite unit when I played Tiberian Sun as a kid, and in every skirmish I played I would just straight tech to the cyborg commando. I haven't got much better at RTS since then, but I enjoy watching people who know what they're doing. Especially with such great commentary!

I love CNC3 but it always bothered me that they never put any Tiberian wildlife into the game. No fiends, no floaters, Visceroids are in the game but the trigger that spawns them is apparently borked
Edit: veinhole monsters too... you want to tell me tiberium spread is worse than it was during tib war 2 but VHMs are all but wiped out?
Visceroids can spawn from one of the screen units, and lorewhise yeah they mostly whipped out because tiberium changed from biology to full cryztaline (ofc you can say they wrote the lore this way so they don't need to implement them) the vein holes probably evolved to the tiberium spawns in CNC3 it looks very similar
tbh i would have been fine with everything but veinholes coming back
Yeah, in terms of wildlife design, Tiberian Sun was much better. I truly wish that the developers of C&C 3 had the time and resources to go for one of the other C&C3 concepts, where in addition to the factions we got, we would also have the mutants and CABAL's cyborgs, the mutants would likely make use of tamed tiberium wildlife, and that would have been cool. It's always nice to see it in C&C mods.

That’s one if the reasons why I enjoyed Twisted Insurrection so much. How they expended and reimagined not only the main factions. But also the flora and fauna.
They originally didn't have blue tiberium either, until the fans ravaged them.
It was apparently sooo hard for them to add blue tiberium. 🙄

The flying Visceroids are called Tiberian Floaters, they simply forgot to rename them.
Seeing this mod makes me wonder... is there a Tib Sun scene? I've seen every C&C game on Sybert's channel except Tib Sun and Tib Twilight, though I understand why no one plays Twilight
That was crazy how the south united against the north like that. It may even have some lore significance, how GDI united with NOD traitors and mutants to defeat the main red and orange forces of NOD.
Tha mammoth kill where the stealth tanks came from behind to finish it off and cut it's retreat was one of the coolest moment.
Another day another hit by Sybert - well done man.
I watch a lot of replays, but definitely yours are the most energetic.

This actually looks like what C&C 3 should have been unit wise. It always felt like the continuation of tech was reversed between Tib sun and 3.

Mod for Tiberium Wars that basically brings Tib Sun into the 3D world.
They made lots of changes but that's the idea.
This mod had me sold the second i saw that training infantry is no longer the equivalent to burning money. Of all the c&c titles, tiberium wars 3 has needed the most balancing by far. Its exciting to think of this game’s true potential being brought out by the modding community just like Supreme Commander’s has.

There were some seriously braindead decisions made by keeping the last MCVs alive or not destroying critical unit factories with no resistance to destroy them... and then those players come to bite back at them later and end up winning. lol

I'd like to know why the game seems to be running so smooth even though I assume this is still capped to 30fps as the game normally is. My game runs at the same fps but seems very choppy no matter what graphics settings I use. The only fix is using the 60fps mod but so much of the game mechanics are tied to FPS. Maybe it's just this recording that makes it look smooth but if anyone has ideas please let me know. I also installed this mod and it's awesome but the choppy visuals are quite the pain
Sybert has mentioned in the past that the recordings are later upsampled for higher framerates

2.0 is buggy and some units don't work tbh you really only play 2.0 if you wanna play as the forgotten

hmm..how i would love to see a good 'mod' for the tib universe strategy game with the depth like supcom 1 , the ambiance & dynamic environment aspects like original tib and the potential for....more.. if leaving space for flexible 'mechanic infrastructure' hehehe
also...anyone that want to say ''walls & gates useless'' ...how many silos where used as improv walls ? then agen thats like with proper support weapons in the arsenal.... design stupidity to advance parts of the game mechanics to suit the genre while keeping others to stagnate sighs..

@Sybert. Are you only commenting battles of good players? I think battles of average players have more random and surprising elements. It would be a fresh alternation to see some "normal" battles.

This is kinda far fetched, but would you ever consider hosting a match with the crossfire mod? I’d imagine it would be more chaotic than tiberium essence.
Cyberg Commando is too OP. I remember this unit from generals contra, but can't recall it in tiberium universe.
Nope. It was SOOO OP back in the 1.4 version; it had a faster fire rate and even a heroic cyborg comando could decimate everything with ease, in seconds and not die... EVEN TO A MAMMOTH WALKER!
This 1.6 got nerfed with good reasons. Though I wish Carnius would buff up the GDI Zone Commando.

Without anti-air support, it's hard countered by harpies, orca gun turrets, or jump jet infantry.
