Hot Wheels Mainline vs. Premium: The TMNT Party Wagon (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles)

- Today we take a look at the Premium Ninja Turtles Party Wagon from Hot Wheels. This is the second version of the premium Party Wagon we've gotten so far, and the third Party Wagon overall from Hot Wheels: the first was the 2020 San Diego Comic-Con premium with turtle mini figs, the second was the mainline version, and the third is this premium version.
This is probably the biggest mainline to premium difference in a release-- possibly ever -- as the premium version is an entirely different casting with metal chassis and body, multiple moving parts, Real Riders, and a full interior.
If you're a TMNT fan, this one needs to be on your must-have list!

I Definitely need to find atleast 2 of these. 1 because im a collector so I want to leave it in its card unopened. And the other one for my son who has the mainline one & LOVES TMNT & he wants the one that opens so bad! 😩 Super cool🐢🚗🔥
Dude that thing is righteous! Cowabunga! I have both of these. I have to dig through my stash and remove the premium from its pack. I didnt know it had all those moving parts! How cool is that! The only other premium ive seen that has extra features would be the he-man wind raider. In the cartoon and the 6" scale toy the wind raider could be separated into a different vehicle. Hw made theirs that way too! Awesome! One of my other favorites is the barbie dream camper. It is so cool. A toy of a toy. Its molded with the full size barbie one features. Plus the side opens to create a picnic area! The whole top is made with plastic just like the barbie sized one. Great post. Keep em coming! Thx🚗🚙🚕🚓🚑
Agree! The moving parts stuff is so much cooler than static models - the Barbie Dream Camper is such a good casting - it would be cool to see HWs make more RV castings I’m general too.

I got lucky to find the mainline and premium I didn't even know there was a premium so when I saw it Was quite surprised.

I've just very lucky. I got one of 5 from the one of Online Shop in my country. and one day after that it sold out. until i write this post, i still not find another stuff except preorder

I have the Ashton Martin Vulcan mainline and premium was not expecting it.
Found 2 of the premium today, never saw the main line out a good friend picked up 1 for me. Premium is sweet, great comparison
The mainline seemed to get gobbled up pretty quick in my area too. So far I have only seen the premium twice in stores, so I know people are hoarding that one too lol. Glad you were able to find the premium so you didn’t have to pay eBay price ha 😎

Bought 2 of these premium ones they are really cool i bought 1 for my daughter for christmas and 1 for myself she loved it :) Bought the Last 2 at my Local Walmart :) its worth the price very neat :)
The punisher van have similar features don’t think there a mainline though 🤔
The Punisher Van is a good one - but you’re right on there not being a mainline too...although I can’t remember if that van has moving parts or not ha.

Nevermind. I see it's the Comicon edition lol. Wowza those are pricey...
Yeah the Comic-Con version has really gone up in price but the better news is that the “World’s Smallest” toy line has all four TMNT mini figs that will work for a fraction of the price! They have them on eBay for like $30 a set which is still a decent amount, but way better than the $100 plus the SDCC version goes for lol.

@@64Wheels I grew up in the 80s and 90s so the turtles were my jam. But adulthood had me almost forget about them. The Shredders Revenge game has me back on the turtle kick and I'm loving it lol.

why didnt hot wheels make this with the mini turtles inside like the sdcc version
They’ve never released mini-figs as part of a normal premium bc it would drive the cost of that particular vehicle up...and then the special SDCC edition wouldn’t be very special ha. But I would love to see those figures sold again!

Fou d two of these premiums last.... Only bought one because someone else deserves to have one as well. I grew up in the 80s and 90s for TNMT was my favorite along with Ghostbusters. Very good video as well.
Hell yeah to Ghostbusters too! Two of my favs as well. Hot Wheels released a special Real Ghostbusters cartoon car back in 2015 and would be a great match for the Party Wagon. I did a video on that casting as well 😎
