Love Letters (Album Journey of the Heart)

I'm super excited to share the story behind my new song, "Love Letters." This one’s really special to me because it’s all about my own long-distance relationship. It’s a journey of love and connection, told through the timeless romance of postcards and emails.
My partner and I live thousands of miles apart-me in New York, him in Frankfurt/Main. Despite the distance, we’ve kept our love strong through writing. In an age of instant messages and video calls, we’ve found something magical in handwritten postcards and heartfelt emails.
"Love Letters" tells our story. It starts with the thrill of getting a postcard from across the ocean, reading each carefully chosen word, and feeling connected despite the miles. Each postcard and email is a piece of our hearts, showing our love and commitment.
The first verse talks about feeling his presence through his words. From New York streets to Frankfurt skies, our love knows no bounds. Every line he writes makes the distance feel smaller.
The chorus captures our connection: "Love letters across the sea, postcards and emails, you and me. In every message, in every note, our love’s the anchor, our hearts afloat." Our written words keep us anchored, even when we’re far apart.
Writing and reading these love letters has become a cherished ritual. It’s more than just communication; it’s sharing our deepest thoughts, dreams, and everyday moments. The second verse talks about sharing midnight thoughts and morning sun, bridging the time zones with our words.
The song also touches on the anticipation of checking my mailbox or email inbox, hoping to find his latest message. Each letter and email brings comfort, keeping our connection alive and strong. The fourth verse highlights this feeling and the comfort his words bring, even on busy days.
"Love Letters" celebrates the little things that make our relationship special. It’s about finding joy in writing, the magic of a handwritten note, and the strength we draw from each other’s words. The fifth verse reflects on how our love grows with every letter, bridging the gap between us.
Writing this song was a personal and emotional journey. It let me express the beauty and challenges of a long-distance relationship and how we keep our love alive through words.
