I used to think the price for bed bug extermination is ridiculous and gouging - and I still think that, BUT in cases like THIS, where the exterminator is actually doing MORE than spritzing a blotch in each drawer (not even taking out the drawers) and he's putting in the work - absolutely worth the price. Absolutely. I wish more were like you, man. God bless you in Christ
Thank you with all my heart for all of your videos, but especially this one. You're a man of character, like the one comment, we need more people like you. God bless you and your family.
You have the best channel. I don't even have bugs and I watch it. It's not just informative, it's also entertaining because you have a good sense of humor. Thanks.
Yes they do. There is such a stigma about them that people think only dirty homes get them. I am a neat freak and keep my home very clean and ended up getting them from guest who stayed over during the holidays.
Green Akers Pest Control LLC it's a nightmare. I still have ptsd from them. I treated them myself with powder and natural chemicals. Not pesticides. I haven't seen any in a month but I still spray every few weeks. I am so paranoid about them coming back and I'll never let anyone stay with me again. I'm always checking the beds and couches and keep thinking something is crawling on me even though there isn't.
God Bless you for helping those who can't afford the proper treatment. I'm currently battling this pest. I am determined to rid my life of these critters.
So kind of you to help people out. The world needs more people like you. Its a helpless feeling to not be able to afford treatment. Do you treat carpet perimeters with crossfire?
Props for helping people bro. People really have no idea how crazy it is to have bed bugs in your home and to be terrorized while sleeping when you are most vulnerable.
You are so right. Im super freaked out now and already have illnesses and chronic pain and injuries that make it so so hard to sleep. Me just finding evidence after being bitten no matter where I go, & I'm up in arms.
I live in Oshawa Ontario Canada. I have Carpet Beatles and the rash too boot so I started clean heavy in June still going slow due to a bad back am Nd depresion. I do a sixth month rotation of my bed so the springs won't wear out too quickly. I noticed non itchy rashes again and thought crap them again and found a larva on my bed so I inspected the sides. Bed Bugs. First time ever in my 10 years of having apartments. So I took Lysol Wipe and used it to kill them and washed the sides with it to start. I am going to alert my Landlady once I am done cleaning. 0 friends means I have to break my back cleaning. Thank you for the videos you have helped me think on treatments.
Dude thank you so much man if we all could have this mindset and just help at least one of our fellow man the world wouldn’t be so damn scary and lonely
Just ordered my crossfire!! Got 2 13oz bottles , going to do all the beds sofas and chairs and all the baseboards!! Wish me luck!! Everything else I've tried has failed !! I feel confident about crossfire!! Thanks for the videos!! From Durham , NC
We have paid only 380 so far for our treatment. On top of this we have put down The Earth powder. We have traps under our bed. I have Bedlam ordered. It has been a nightmare. Thanks for helping people with the videos.
rugs dont get full of bed bugs. They like to live around baseboards and cracks not under area rugs or carpet. You can find them around tack strips though sometimes
I am ordering crossfire and will attempt to treat my room. 1. do you recommend vacuuming the bed after the crossfire has dried to remove any possibly remaining bed bugs? 2. Are you a fan of encasing the mattress in one of those zipper mattress covers? 3. How do you go about approaching the closet? Thank you again for these videos.
I would vacuum before application then next month when you apply again vacuum first again. I am only a fan of encasements AFTER you are sure the bedbugs are gone otherwise it’s a waste. I treat baseboards throughout the house
Hi Jason. First of all ty ty so much for all Your videos super helpful for someone that has never experience this. Question we threw out our mattresses bed springs dressers in both rooms etc. Do you think there is still a lot in our carpet ? We have washed steamed our carpet. Bed bug bite spray and dust for carpet. Along w alcohol vinegar & baking soda ? Not sure what else to do. I feel like I’m going crazy ! Any tips or suggestions would be so helpful !
Damm I am just looking at that couch and can figure out the cost of it. The thing that bothers me the most is when you think that simply throwing the furniture away will solve the problem with a bit of otc spray and when you get the new furniture same problem. I really really hate these bugs. I remember one crawled in my ear once and I had to flush it out. I have had many hours of restless sleep and it's just horrible. It feels like torture really. Just horrible. 😔😔😢😢😢 You sir will definately get my donation for your helping people in need. I threw my furniture away because of this problem. Its heartbreaking it really is and I'm an ultra clean person. I just can't stand these lil demons. Its horrible to feel you cant own quality furniture anymore. You cant even invite your friends and family over for fear that they might say something about you and tell others.
Thank you for this video. You helped my son get rid of his infestation several years ago when he & his young son lived in Reinbeck IA. I am now in an Apt complex that has them & I'm beyond frustrated! I still have your number & I'll be calling you soon for your help.
You are awesome. I can't say enough about what you are doing. You are an inspiration, thank you thank you thank you.. I'll be keep you in my prayers brother!! Have the best day ever..
Jason, I hope you see this. I trust you. I’ve been struggling with bedbugs in the walls, between apts since 2017. Downstairs tenant refuses to stop spraying repellent sprays. Pco came & refuses to treat til I can catch a live one. They’re so fast now & maybe wily. They hardly ever leave stains anymore & my platform bed is metal with just folding mattress ( I’m done buying real beds). The classic musty odor is really bad at night & gone in the morning. Bugs bite til almost 5 am- gotta be huge infestation by now. I’ve been spraying Crossfire 2x a week since May. Cimexa in interceptors & edges of wall to wall. Please help?
I also hope you see this comment, from his recent videos he has a live streams on Thursdays 930pm I assume virginian time, he also has a discord your can join too he has chats based on pests, and lastly He has a link to contact him personally If I remember correctly.
If I only experience bites in 2 rooms on occasion while sleeping, and never in waking hours, do I have to spray the entire 3 floor house? Or should I just treat the room?
Thanks, and just to clarify, when you say every room you mean the entire house (including basement) and not just every bedroom right? What about furniture? Do I treat all the beds and couches, even the ones not infested?
Thanks for the response. I been getting a lot of mix answers. From throwing away everything, to treating every personal belonging and sealing it, to emptying all drawers and cabinets and spray on every cracks there. Vacuum everywhere, steam everywhere, And of course, sprinkling DE everywhere like it's winter. Then I see other places saying you don't need to do those things. Just basic cleanup so you can get around the house to spray/powder. Unless there are signs of bedbugs in a specific drawer/cabinet. Moving things too much might make them spread everywhere instead. Your information is a lot more helpful than most DIY on RUclips.
So GRATEFUL For The Good You Do ! Your Videos Are So Helpful Too ! God bless You & Yours ! Was curious how much Crossfire for 1200 Sq Ft Home ? Penney C.
Is it true that if u place things in garbage bags and sit them in direct sunlight it will kill the bed bugs. Or if u put clothes in the dryer on high heat it will kill any in your clothes?
@Green Akers man nice work, you make this stuff look easy. Quick question if you don’t mind, do you have a video on mixing the crossfire concentrate and will the buggers come out once you spray? My god daughter can’t find them anymore but still gets bites from time to time and maybe a skin casing? Don’t know how to find them, not in the bed or bed parts
You are wonderful to help people I doubt you’re in my area but I have such a problem I try to make sure that I buy all the products but I can I mean I’m spending like 150 a month on sprays and powders I live in an apartment building and low income and I’m doing my best to get rid of them I don’t know a couch I found out a bed and toned out clothing I just don’t know what to do my son went to school and had a bedbug on him the problem I thought it got better during the summer I really didn’t see any but then when summer came out of my god they are back
Hello. I was wondering. How do i keep spraying my baseboards when i already dusted? I'm still waking up to blood stains and back dots. Should i remove the dust and start spraying for awhile? Thanks for any help.
Ahh! Okay if anyone is dealing with this I'd recommend professionals! I tried the self treatment stuff and it drove them into the walls and even into my framed art and so gross and I'm sure they carry diseases and bite! But I found a company that let me make payments. It was $1200 to treat our whole house just in case...but ya I couldn't imagine living with that! Seriously call until you get one that will take payments. Or help you out if you need. Call and ask!! Seriously don't live with it. No human being should live with this. Thanks so much for all you do! It's nice to see God working through you and thanks for showing us what service means. :) I wanna serve like this in my job too. When u serve others I think it shows your heart for God and others will wanna do the same, or at least it makes me want to. :)
Didn't know they could hatch out 4 months later I thought they hatched every 14 days so guess I'm going have to keep treating not sure if I can afford to do that unreal
I've been watching your videos...I'm helping a family member get rid of bed bugs...I just ordered crossfire but do you have any experience with tempo sc ultra? Does that stuff eork?
If I may ask, whats the difference between using the spraying device you used and a traditional spray bottle? Will the traditional spray bottle be less effective?
hi I have a question! I recently got a crossfire but it’s aerosol I was wondering if it’s just as reliable? And also when I spray it it comes out as white foam, is it supposed to do that
In the store on Amazon, one of the product you have listed is the harris spray... do you recommend it as much as the crossfire? Will it work as well or is the crossfire the way to go?
As long as it’s the 5 minute “gold label” it is the same active as crossfire and should in theory work as well. Let me know what happens if you decide to go that route
So you only treat sofas, chairs and beds? I thought every crack, crevice, corner, etc was supposed to be treated. Help me plz! I have them very bad. In every room except master bedroom. Even in the bathroom. I’m buying the crossfire, but I need to know how exactly to treat. Do I spray doors, dressers, walls, tables?
Hi we been dealing with bed bugs for five years going on six years and we can’t afford an exterminator either it’s too expensive . What are the steps we should take to get rid of them cause sprays don’t work enough it’s really stress ful
@green Akers pest control llc we have tried raid spray for bed bugs and the foggers and other sprays for bed bugs which didn’t work were currently using Harris bed bug spray and the Harris bed bug powder
I recommend checking my online Amazon page at www.amazon.com/shop/greenakerspestcontrolllc . I keep up-to-date lists of all the pesticides I USE for bed bugs. I only post things I have used and that work. Crossfire is what I recommend and works like nothing else in the world. DO NOT USE AEROSOLS! They are a waste of money and don't work.
Green Akers Pest Control LLC hi my mom purchase the crossfire bed bug spray which is expensive we want to know how to use it and where exactly do we spray at
Ingrid the main thing is to be careful when doing the treatment and mindful of everything around me as not to brush up against anything while on the job
Ingrid for my situation my go to process is walk in the door step onto a white towel and take off my socks and shoes. Shake them out, bang one against the other and out fall the bugs!
Thank you for sharing your knowledge I need help so bad I live in Ohio n we just want to get them gone but have not enough money to get everything we need 😭😭😭
We did that, but we used the Ortho Bedbug spray. We are ordering Crossfire off the internet because we can't get any here in Anchorage, AK. You have given us hope that we can finally get rid of them by your video. We thank you for that. I am 66 years old and had never in my life seen a bedbug until I stayed at a high end hotel and woke up with a handful of bites. I didn't see any bugs on me or in the bed but guess one snuck into my luggage and the creepy crawly came home with me. We've sprayed many times in the last year so that tells me that Ortho isn't the answer. I'm sure it's helped because we don't have many but I won't stop until there are NONE left. Thank you for your video!
I bought the crossfire from your link, I dont have the special spraying equipment though and dont have a lot of money. Can I use it in a misting spray bottle? I dont have anywhere to put my son while I spray can I put him in another room with a mask and then we both leave when I get done spraying? I also want to treat my guest room because I think thats where it originated when my mother came to visit last month, but no one is sleeping in there right now what do I do? Thank you so much
Are bugs in a dryer for sure dead! I just got giant bedbugs on the hem of my jeans at dollar store! i just took my garbage out necked because i'm afraid of all my clothing!
@@GreenAkersPC thank you. I'm planning to throw away my sofa that is less than 3 years old away because I'm sure there may be eggs and bb in parts I can't vacuum and spray. Would you think it's wise or would just spraying crossfire on accessible parts do the job? I also will spray my entire apartment
@@GreenAkersPC should I or should I not have a mattress cover "not encasement " and a sheet over my mattress after they spray? I was thinking having anything over the mattress would make the spray ineffective when they crawl up on my bed. Thanks Jason!
@@GreenAkersPC ...Hi thank you SO much for answering me. My husband has a follow up question. He wonders why concentrate is more effective than the aerosol He also wouldn't believe me when I told him that some people can be bitten by bed bugs and have no reaction at all. Can I get a confirmation from you on that? And, he asks if there is a big enough difference between the cheap sprayers vs expensive sprayers that we should consider buying one. We do not have a huge budget, and this is a struggle right now. If I got a 20 dollar (Chapin brand) gallon sprayer off Amazin to distribute CrossFire would it work just as well as an expensive sprayer... is there really a reason to buy an expensive sprayer if you aren't a professional. Thanks again. Thank you, God bless. I really appreciate your answering. You are giving a tired exhausted mom some peace of mind i how she deals with these awful things.
@@Nectarisa 1)I have never used the Aerosol but I know people who have who have had awful results. 2) I know people personally who have never had a single reaction from bed bug bites but were heavily infested 3) A good sprayer is a dream come true and can control the use of pesticides much better. A lot of the lower end plastic sprayers just flood the area with too much spray and waste product. I hope I answered all your questions lol
@@GreenAkersPC You did, thank you so much. I'm up with bites. I figure I'll order crossfire on amazon with a sprayer. Do you have a brand you prefer of sprayer? (ok one more question lol)
Omg I have a similar colored couch that is a huge clunky sectional from the 90s that I got when my grandma passed. It was in storage for a while which makes me even more concerned. It's almost impossible for me to move one section of it. I'm 5'2" going under 100 pounds.
My sectional is more like the first one but it's been thru some banged up moving processes from people being careless. I mostly am in my bed a lot as I'm so sick & it gets worse every year. I get bit but never see anything bite me. I never see anything on me. It used to happen when I'd sit on the couch. It happens when I would sit on the floor even after vacuuming back before further injuries. Wow. It's mind blowing that these things can detect our carbon dioxide/breath. It really is like monsters under the bed or something. Definitely not helping the insomnia 😢
It really just depends though. I try to put followups on my regular routes so if, for example, I did a bed bug job today (the 2nd Monday) but needed them to be on the 1st Monday to mix well with the route then I would come back on that day rather than wait an entire extra month because that would be far too long of a gap between visits.
Green Akers Pest Control LLC I see, cool I'm gonna use crossfire, then phantom on second visit and transport the Third visit. I'll use alpine dust in the walls too which has diatomaceous earth in it
what can i spray, we have a business and its impossible to get rid of them because its really cluttered and we cant afford heat treatment. What can I spray?
Like your videos, thank you for them. I've been awake since 3 am worried about bb. My mother lives upstairs and I live in a separate suite down. It's a very old house lots of cracks EVERYWHERE, the walls and ceilings upstairs have gaps and the basement is a drop ceiling with open cracks , the furnace room has no ceilings so you can see the floor upstairs between the insulation. My mom got the bed bugs when she picked up a cat from people living in a hotel, must have been in the cat bed and box the cat came in. I bought an industrial spreader and dusted the entire upstairs with diatamatouse earth, within a day they came downstairs. These bugs are probably EVERYWHERE, ceilings, walls, attic.... I saw one on my moms ceilings the other day. Please help us. I live in Canada.
Not if you hit your house with a microwave generator they won't survive it because they're little tiny bodies are very vulnerable to heat once those microwave heat up their skins they very thin membrane skins they will bust open like popcorn including their eggs back in the 1980s I remember watching the TV show where this termination company was using a brand new technique of getting rid of roaches basically they put in little small panels that look like radar dishes throughout the whole house and they told her family take a hike for 6 hours and the guys went inside of a van they hit the switch and that house got bombarded with microwave radiation it didn't matter where those cockroaches or hiding it once those microwaves penetrate throughout the whole building they didn't survive it the Exterminator bombarded the whole house after about 2 hours of bombardment they win and they had these snake cameras that they could put inside eye sockets light sockets or wherever there's a hole in the wall if they found any more still surviving they bombarded the house with more microwaves by the house again for another other two hours after 4 hours they went back in and check every swinging dick cockroach with dead only did next was vacuumed up they had specialized equipment they could do to the tiniest of cracks in the house and suck those motherfuckers up, they didn't didn't leave one crack one centimeter that house unchecked. This family had a bad infestation of cockroaches. but ever since that TV program aired back in the 1880s I have not seen one extermination company use that method? It's a lot safer it doesn't use chemicals it just use good old-fashioned science. in short it's a technique that works
PS PS this is not a an affiliate link or Ebay Amazon blah blah blah link I don't get paid for this I wish? LOL I got this on my Christmas shopping list and I intended order one from Amazon a snake eye camera you can hook up the iPhone or Android and you can do your own inspection just to make sure be careful don't hit don't hit no electrical outlets.. That would be bad, LOL. ruclips.net/video/kEPQ_ZxbJ4Y/видео.html
Is DEET based insect repellant sufficient at keeping them off you when entering an infested dwelling? I normally strip down entirely once I'm home after entering a place and put clothes shoes etc in the washer the water in that is usually 200F, and jump in the shower but I am paranoid about this and would prefer not to bring them home in the first place.
Mine was no where near this bad and ultimately I threw out the mattress. Still finding some stragglers and that was after spaying and fogging like crazy.
I just moved to a new apartment and noticed bedbugs and fleas So I got a heat treatment hoping they vanish. Since I don’t have any furniture yet they must be hiding under carpet or so, my question does heat treatment kill bed and fleas which are living in and under carpet? Please respond thanks!
Me my wife our 2 year old and my grandmother in law all live together and we have done heat treat they came out a second time and we just recently bombed with bed bug bombs sprayed every piece of the beds and couches and still have them have spent total 2000 dollars help suggestions also semi big house
wesley slagle also on my website there is a CONTACT US page with a form. Fill that out and I will send you a PDF I wrote to help people in your situation
hi! Thanks for this video. I watched it and had everyone at the loft watch it. I noticed you didn't do the rug or the walls or the picture frames. Why? Should I do the inside of the draws, lamps, the night table? The kitchen? Where the plants are? Should I bag up all of my personal belongs first and spray inside the bag? Should I spray the books? I am confused in what to spray. I get the logic, spray where people spend more time in. My roommate sleeps in the couch downstairs, similar to the big one you sprayed , he is getting bitten. Should I spray the floor near the couch too? Last questions, you said no mattress encasement, my roommate won't listen to me, he said he will put the encasement in once i spray his mattress, I am assuming i am going to spray the whole thing, including the top and bottom of the mattress. I told him wait three hours before putting the mattress encasement in. Is that okay? He will not compromise about letting go of his mattress encasement. My clothes- i can't put in the dryer what should I do with them? What do people do with their shoes and clothes. Thanks. Sorry for so many questions. I got the Crossfire and the B&G sprayer. I am doing it tomorrow.
Broadcast treatment of the floor is not needed at all. I don’t recommend pulling everything off the walls or anything. The only thing I didn’t show in this video that I do in every bedbug job is that I treat the baseboards
Hi. I have a bedbug problem and me and my son are suffering. We get bit every night. I hate it! I see you recommend Crossfire. Will this really work? I dont have money to spare and definitely cannot waste any. Please just promise me this will work. Please I need help!
I can’t promise but I can tell you I’ve had amazing results and so have many others who watch my videos and have no where near the expertise I have with bedbugs
@@GreenAkersPC thank you so very much for your response and so quickly. I really appreciate it and your informative videos! Looked everywhere in bedroom and whole apartment found no more bugs.My son and I sleep in my bedroom only where bugs were found. I cant find anymore bugs but since killing those bugs my son only has gotten bitten at night. Where can they be? I do live in a duplex so one neighbor. The wall we share is 2 bedroom walls. Could they be coming from their apartment? Thank you for any help you can provide. At least I dont feel so alone in this! 😊
@@GreenAkersPC I should have explained better. I've used crossfire twice in my Mother's room. A caregiver brought bed bugs to us. No matter where I spray, beds corners and every nook and cranny, she still wakes up with bites. I've taken the room apart and sprayed everything twice. Any advice?
@@GreenAkersPC We sprayed two weeks ago and then I sprayed again two days ago and she has bites on her arm this morning. I can't see evidence anywhere on her bed that they're located there. I'm using liquid from one of your links.

1. Just ordered mine, how often should I follow up? 2. Will shampooing my carpet work well? 3. What else should I do to avoid reinfestation?
Thanks!
it's not much - but for now it's all I can swing. hope it helps a little bit.
thank you.
We have paid only 380 so far for our treatment. On top of this we have put down The Earth powder. We have traps under our bed. I have Bedlam ordered. It has been a nightmare. Thanks for helping people with the videos.
Thank you for this video. Very helpful information. Please make more like this.
Thanks for sharing. May God bless you. What about that rug? It might be full of bugs too?
rugs dont get full of bed bugs. They like to live around baseboards and cracks not under area rugs or carpet. You can find them around tack strips though sometimes
Thank you for what you do.
Hi Jason. First of all ty ty so much for all
Your videos super helpful for someone that has never experience this.
You sir will definately get my donation for your helping people in need. I threw my furniture away because of this problem. Its heartbreaking it really is and I'm an ultra clean person. I just can't stand these lil demons.
Its horrible to feel you cant own quality furniture anymore. You cant even invite your friends and family over for fear that they might say something about you and tell others.
Great job Jason!

Do you have any experience with Aprehend? If so what do you think of it? Do you think it truly has a 3 mo residual? Thank you!!

You rule Jason, thanks for helping the peeps. Bedbug are the WORST!
If I only experience bites in 2 rooms on occasion while sleeping, and never in waking hours, do I have to spray the entire 3 floor house? Or should I just treat the room?
HamHamHampster I typically treat every room to stop any bugs trying to get away from the pesticide
Thanks, and just to clarify, when you say every room you mean the entire house (including basement) and not just every bedroom right? What about furniture? Do I treat all the beds and couches, even the ones not infested?
HamHamHampster couches, beds , easy chairs, and baseboards that’s all
Thanks for the response.

Is it true that if u place things in garbage bags and sit them in direct sunlight it will kill the bed bugs. Or if u put clothes in the dryer on high heat it will kill any in your clothes?
LaShanda Glenn it is true about the dryer but as far as sunlight i would not count on that working because there will be pockets of cooler air

DAVON D mixing instructions are on the label and it will not drive them out because it is non-repellent

Hello.
I was wondering. How do i keep spraying my baseboards when i already dusted?
I'm still waking up to blood stains and back dots.
Should i remove the dust and start spraying for awhile?
Thanks for any help.
Dee Bradshaw I typically spray baseboards and dust wall voids ..besides if it's DE dust then once the spray dries the dust will still work

I don’t
How long did it take him to get rid of them?
Honestly one time is all it took
Just over paid for heat treatment that didn’t work wish I would have found your channel first.
I hear this every day
@Lovelyd S Exterminate the bug, then exterminate the friend.
Lauren Stanley They don’t carry diseases thankfully
Didn't know they could hatch out 4 months later I thought they hatched every 14 days so guess I'm going have to keep treating not sure if I can afford to do that unreal
Under normal living conditions they hatch within 6-10 days

Jason are you saying tear the bottom cover of sofa or boxsrpings? Leave them off? How in the world do they hang out in bathroom sink?
I have seen them live around bath tubs, sinks, and toilets.
Your awesome thank you for your help.
If you're going to be pulling those covers off it might be a good idea to get a stapler to put them back on so they aren't just flapin in the breeze
Better idea is to throw them in the garbage
Where is your flash light? Trash bags to put your felts in?? Maybe use some bedlume plus on the tops of mattresses and couch will not damage.

A traditional spray bottle will be less effective yes
hi I have a question!

Ingrid the main thing is to be careful when doing the treatment and mindful of everything around me as not to brush up against anything while on the job
Ingrid for my situation my go to process is walk in the door step onto a white towel and take off my socks and shoes. Shake them out, bang one against the other and out fall the bugs!

Drain the waterbed and treat the frame and under it
We did that, but we used the Ortho Bedbug spray.
It really just depends though. I try to put followups on my regular routes so if, for example, I did a bed bug job today (the 2nd Monday) but needed them to be on the 1st Monday to mix well with the route then I would come back on that day rather than wait an entire extra month because that would be far too long of a gap between visits.

It's a lot safer it doesn't use chemicals it just use good old-fashioned science. in short it's a technique that works
