    Islam saved my life. Had it not been for Allah blessing me with an open heart to accept Islam into my heart, I probably would be dead.

    Normally Sheikh is so laid back but here you could see he was just so fed up and he was turning that into humour. It's sad when Muslims disappoint such great decent people among us. Great reminder

    New age scholars are frightening and depressing me! Sheikh Hamza Yusuf brings some relief, may Allah bless him so much! Ya Allah guide our children, I’m so petrified of the world they are growing up in! Fitna and anti Islamic rhetoric is terrifying!

    It is truly amazing that whenever I read the Qur’an without any preconceived notions, I get these wonderful messages, as if God is sending me love letters. And then somebody comes along and interprets them completely differently. Then when I hear Shaykh Hamza confirm that the interpretation I got from my own reading matches his interpretation, I get secured in my faith.

    There is no God but Allah (swt) & Mohammad (saw) is the messenger of Allah. Deal with it.

    The real problem is our lack of understanding Arabic. Too busy working for the man and paying Bill's to understand the langauage of which will draw you closer to the high ranks of Jannah. No learning Arabic no deep understanding.

      Even learning very little Arabic fisabillilah will help you tremendously, but you have to recognize the importance.

    A very irrelevant question, but does anyone know where or which book the page at 4:51 is from?
    That writing is quite similar to mine, except a bit better, you know.
    So I really really wanna improve my writing by checking that book out..
    If you know another book or picture etc that has a similar writing, please let me know..
    (Btw, I've tried to take a screenshot of that part of the video, and tried to find that picture from reverse image search. Didn't work. 😔)

    Hamza Yusuf is a sufi. No matter how eloquently he comes across you will be misguided away from true Islam. Save yourselves. Allah Hu Allam

    • @matthewsykes268
      @matthewsykes268 6 лет назад +17

      Brothers on the Saudi minhaj use the term “Sufi” to refer to everyone who’s not a salafi and doesn’t follow their handful of scholars (to the exclusion of the majority of ulama of Sunni Islam). A Sufi is someone who follows a Sufi tariqah where they make bayah to a spiritual master/leader. Hamza Yusuf doesn’t ascribe to any tariqah as far as I know. He’s Ashari in aqeeda and Maliki in fiqh. And he teaches tassawuf (purification of the heart/self) as a science of Islam (as it is), not as an adherent to a Sufi tariqah.

      Sufi's are true Muslims. If he is he is blessed by Allah.
