I feel Luka's pain man. As a designer, if the manufacturer fucks up or does something you don't want there's pretty much nothing you can do, yet it could have all been avoided if they did what you said. Plus you don't want anyone wearing it because your name/brand is attached to it and you only want to put out quality products. Love this series.
Don't sell it then, a good manufacturer will put out samples first and if a manufacturer goes off from a sample then you're fully entitled a refund

There’s a difference between bossing people around and caring and literally doing your job and that’s exactly what Luca is doing I don’t get why some of you guys are feeling like he’s bossing people around

Luca is definitely not about the money. Work is hard, when you manage something and make specific demands using all your own hard earned money and people don't listen, it's infuriating. He strives for perfection and is even if you don't like it helping every single person involved in the project with even the most mundane things like more connections. It's cool that he takes his work really fucking seriously and isn't some half hearted dude.

Jeaden Beige boxes were custom ink but imo if you go to local print shop its a lot better and you can negotiate the price and build a relationship over time. also its cool and not super hard to learn to screenprint yourself its just trial and error.

@@keelanwoohoo no worries. Trust me I say it only to help you out. Vivienne Westwood stuff aren't as mass produced. I live near the flagship store in London and it's the size of a small apartment. I'd say find something similar from the brand or just be inspired.

Eli Magalong that’s cool and all but that doesn’t mean that he’s actually the creative. Your boss can tell you his vision on how he wants something to look but you are the reason it looks whatever way it does or doesn’t. Again this isn’t a diss at all because they both know their role and are equally ok with that.
