those of us who know twins, can usually easily tell most identical ones apart, usually by mannerisms etc. i have 5 sets in my immediate family, by the time they reach adulthood, there's always little quirk differences.

I believe that they were mimicking each other and it took until they were about 9 months old. When they were 8 weeks old, I had their ears pierced and had two different earrings on them. As they grew, I absolutely could tell them apart because of their personalities. Even now, they look exactly the same if they have their hair pulled back. The minute they speak, their personality shows through. Ever so slightly though.

Then again that doesn't mean they can't still do it to confuse/piss Alyssa off while they deal with her, they're likely pretty enraged she not only ran off on them while online dating & stole their money but that she made them go after the wrong person this whole time who was an innocent bystander that had the unfortunate luck of being the twin sister.
I'm guessing Alyssa understands enough to realize she can't play this identical twin stuff anymore since Courtney & her husband can hit back now. Thanks to this behavior she wasn't able to see her sister's wedding(dunno if she even cared), her family has disowned her & she has to work as a waitress & a stripper just so she can pay for her actions.(On top of all that save up for plastic surgery once everything is paid off) If only she had learned that these games aren't fun anymore. Alyssa is also lucky Courtney didn't sue her for identity theft cause given everything I'm pretty sure there's enough damage to go to court.

The writers are getting better with the numbers they throw around. 90K sounds like a realistic amount that Alyssa could have scammed six guys out of, and large enough that someone with a basic job would struggle to pay back
